The food and service are always good. Never had an issue. Asada and al pastor are amazing. The place could use being remodeled, but dont let the looks fool you on the amazing food.

Fast and fresh, very convenient for lunch during the work day. The tacos were delicious and the staff is friendly.

Food was great, good seasoning and big portions in the meat. The rice water/horchata was really sweet but in a good way. The place looks like it needs a little remodeling but the employees were friendly and food came out in reasonable timing. Really easy to find parking unless it's a Saturday night, where they stay open past midnight, which attracts alot of people to the restaurant. I always get some of their tacos every week and will keep doing so with how delicious they are!

Food is amazing,I’ve dined in a few times but I usually get take out once a week and they have been consistently good every single time,food is fresh and the wait time for takeout is never longer than around 10 minutes,they are bilingual and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve never had any issues here definitely recommend it. This place also wraps their food/tacos in aluminum foil which is key when getting take out a lot of places don’t do that,by the time I get home around 20 minutes my tacos are still hot to the touch and don’t need to reheat them.

Reminded me of street Tacos in Rivera Maya , Mexico. Very tasty and favorable. The place is not fancy and I only saw 2 cooks but they handled the steady flow of customers with ease. Our wait time was about 5 min for dine in.

Amazing food ! Could be cleaner building- avoid bathrooms! Music sometimes too loud.
Other than that everyone is super kind and food always tastes good.

The restaurant is one of Elgin's best "hole-in-the-wall" classic Mexican food in town. Prices are not ridiculously priced for Taco's or any dish on its menu. The place has not been updated in years as far as the lobby goes. But dont let that drive you way from well tasting food.
The location is open late too so its great for late night cravings! Highly recommended...

So for 2 yrs a friend of ours kept telling us this was his favorite place. For my birthday our friend brought us tacos from here and omg!! BEST TACOS EVERRR... like seriously 2 of these babies and I'm all good. So much tender good meat (not that fatty steak either) such a good portion of tacos for 3 bucks each... now this is mine and my husband's favorite taco place 🖤

Small quiet place with great quality food. I ordered the pastor and chicken tacos, and a chorizo quesadilla. All full of flavor. I will be back.

IYKYK! The location and inside might not be the best but the food speaks for itself. The cooks do a really good job making sure the meat is always cooked tender or however you want it. People complain about the cost but that’s happening everywhere if you’re really paying attention. Get your money’s worth in quality food here. If you want bells and whistles—go elsewhere. That’s what you’d be helping pay for anyway.

Had to wait a few mins because it was lunch hour and all, so no biggie. I had a burrito and it was one of the best I've had in a LONG time! It was a really good size and the horchata is hands down the BEST I've ever had. Just enough cinnamon in it and not too sweet! Thanks for the great food guys!

Great tacos, yummy salsa, and quick service.

I had steak tacos. They were perfect. Great flavor. The meat was prepared (seasoned & cooked) perfectly. Fast service. I was not at the table 5 minutes & I had my meal. Good tasting salsa. I will be back. Yummy

Wow this place is a somewhat hidden gem. If you are looking for delicious, no frills mexican food, you have come to the right place. Their steak is marinated to perfection and is outstanding on their tacos and burritos. They offer elotes as a tasty appetizer. Their hot sauce and salsa is delicious. This is a cash only establishment. It is a bit shabby on the outside and inside but their food is why you are there. Give it a try...
