Calvary Baptist Church & Christian Academy

What a wonderful place! Amazing church and school. My daughter is on her 2nd year of school here. It was a must I get her out of public school. I am so grateful 🙏 I found this place. We are so happy to be apart of the CBCA family!

Before I came to Calavry I was in a public school 💀. And when I first came I didn’t know how to feel on it,but Pastor O was super welcoming and understood what I was saying and how hard it was for me to get use to a new school. He had always helped me with a lot of questions I had base off of my classes. I like how the teacher explain things, it helps me wrap my head around it. This is my second year a calavry and I’m blessed to be there ‼🫶🏻

I love this school so much I am going to this school right now it has changed my life a lot and the people here and so kind they made me feel so welcome I recommend this school/church 💕

I love the school. They have lots of lovable/loving teachers, and the people there are really sweet. They may have discipline, but it’s all for my benefit. That’s why I love this school.

My children, Jimmy, Alex and Sarah have attended Calvary Baptist Christian Academy since each of them were in Kindergarten. The Staff, Ann Schotz, Gary Gritton, Anita Gritton, Tyson Olheiser, Jennifer McKitrick and Rachel Hubbart are people who are professional in their approach to teaching and learning. Most importantly is their dedication to teaching the truth of the Bible unashamedly and with love and respect to those entrusted to their care. The students it seems respond to this ardent approach by earning grades that reflect their learning. The level of education at Calvary Academy is among the best.

Fundamentalist Christian teachings are questionable at best. Not a place that I would send my children … and I graduated from here. Stay away.

Core principles and practices don’t change over time within this community.

They sent us a flyer made by children. It had our full names inside of them. It made me feel weird to be solicited by the labors of children. The first thing you see on their website is a link to give them money. You don't even have to sign in... you can just send them money. It is my opinion that someone could use such a platform to launder money. Super fishy practices overall. Will pray elsewhere.

These people showed up to my house knowing my name and address and when I asked why they knew this information they laughed and then tried to give me information on their church. It made me feel unsafe and I'm not sure why they are doing this. I'm creeped out about these two men and the way they approached me and my family.
