William Good Day Park

Well it's not really a beach ... But it is nice to just swim. There's a little playground and a dock.

Gorgeous! We stopped just to get the dog out and let my son play. There's a cute playground and sand court for volleyball. Great stop for stretching legs. I could see this could get very busy in boating season as there is a boat launch here as well.

As long as the water level is low, there is a good 20 feet of sandy beach! There is also a playground, restrooms, and boat dock. Love this little hidden gem!

The lake was well worth the drive. Gorgeous views and the water is so clear you can see straight to the bottom.

Beautiful public beach on Torch Lake! There is a small, but fun, playground for little ones, picnic areas, nice sized parking areas, as well as a boat ramp for those boating. Very fun place to play and you can't beat that crystal clear Torch Lake water! Always smiles when we stop here!!

It was a nice small park. The beach is small as the grass goes almost to the water line. The bottom of the lake in the swim area we mostly free of rocks and was pleasant to stand. It was not mushy or mucky. Water was fairly clear and refreshing.

Large picnic area up top is a nice place to enjoy lunch and cookout before walking down 200 feet to the beach. They also have extremely nice restrooms that are cleaned regularly.

Peaceful and quiet around sunset. The trees were flaming with color and the water still crystal clear as always! Even found a Petoskey Stone!!

Very nice park. It has a good amount of parking, a playground, clean bathrooms, and a nice little beach. It also has a boat launch.

Very nice, beautiful, the sandbars where so nice. The water was crystal clear I'd recommend everyone to visit and have fun.

Nice park to enjoy the beach at Torch lake, a couple of BBQ, picnics tables, playground, and restrooms.

Small but cute and clean. Nice play structure for the kids to play on. Loved watching the ducks running around.

It’s a beautiful lake but the beach is tiny and it’s really the only beach on the lake so it’s kind of disappointing but the lake almost makes up for it.

Amazing park with playground with modern equipment, lots of picnic tables and grills, picnic shelters, volleyball court, restrooms, basketball hoops, Fishing Pier, Beach, and new boat launch.

Water was extremely clean. Felt like bath water. Wondering why ive never been there before. Alli and I had a amazing time

This was a nice little park. We had to travel north to handle some personal business and couldn't resist the opportunity to check out beautiful Torch Lake. The park was cleanand perfect for getting our feet wet. We're already planning a vacation for next year.

National Geographic named Torch Lake one of the best bodies of water in the world! It truly is a beautiful lake.
