William A. Presti Center For Families And Youth

We found the center using Google and they recommend Marcie Reznik to us. She was the first experience my partner and I ever had with a life coach. I am not sure what we were expecting but as we both felt like we had an issue we were not able to push through alone we went. We did a total of 6 sessions and LOVEd it! Each time we learned more about the process and each other. Marcie was patient and helped us see what was necessary to move forward. It has been 2 months since our last appointment and it has been great using the tools she thought us. I think our relationship is stronger and our ability to think things out and communicate is so much better. I have a new understanding on Life Coaching and 100% recommend Marcie!!

I have met all of the therapists here, and they are all super kind and knowledgeable in their field!

It is a very warm and inviting place for kids as well as adults - many fun (and comfortable) seating options, local teenagers have painted beautiful art on the walls, they have a variety of manipulatives available for children, and they always greet you with a smile!

I have needed their expertise in multiple areas of my life – with other family members, myself, and my children; and in all ways they have helped me and my family overcome struggles we were experiencing!

I mostly worked with Marlene, and she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible with mine and my families’ needs! I highly recommend them!

I would give this place an even higher rating if I could. As a parent of a struggling teen we wanted to find the best place and fit! I can not express how blessed we are to have found this center. I left a message after hours and got a call the next morning from the owner. She spoke to me for a half hour on the phone and said she had the right therapist for my daughter. I was so impressed. Then we met Amy. Oh my gosh, Amy is the best. We have been to a few different places and seen different therapists and nothing compares to how she handles teenagers. She truly has a gift. I feel like god has put this center in our paths. As a parent looking at the long list of therapists on line and trying to find the right fit is stressful to say the least. Go here with confidence. The best place!!!

I've been going here for years to see Jo and my son has been a patient of Brandon. I can't say enough amazing things about this place! Jo and Brandon have worked miracles for my son and myself! They have always been so professional, welcoming, and always make you feel comfortable! I have friends and family that now go here due to the amazing experience and results! As long as you are willing to do your part to help with the healing process, willing to take responsibility of your own actions, and take charge of your life, this place has your building blocks!

My wife and I were a little skeptical about using a counseling service for our kids but we decided to try the Presti Center. It turned out to be just what we needed, a safe friendly atmosphere where our kids could open up to someone besides Dad and Mom.
Josh did an excellent job of communicating with us and our kids, and he was more than flexible in finding alternative times to meet when things came up. Our kids stated that they would definitely return for more counseling if ever needed.

Over the past 9 months or so, my fiance and I have been coming to Jo. Being that this was my first counseling experience, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Jo has been irreplaceable. We came originally with the intent of receiving premarital counseling, but we are now receiving both mental health and premarital counseling. She has not only saved our relationship, but she has saved us as people. She always goes above and beyond her job, whether that be texting advice or words of encouragement outside scheduled appointment times; working around our schedule, even if she comes in a day or time she usually doesn't; etc. Due to our financial situation, we were going to be paying out of pocket with myself as a preschool teacher and my fiance was a student. The William A. Presti Center was the only option we found that we could afford and they helped us figure out a way to get reimbursed with an HSA card reducing our overall stress. We love it and Jo so much, we invited her to our wedding!

My wife and I have been attending couples counseling at the William A. Presti Center for several years now, and the experience has been incredible. Jo is very attentive, and provides life changing insights that have allowed us to develop skills to become, and remain emotionally connected. I would highly recommend the William A. Presti Center to anyone willing to put in the work to improve your relationships.

Highly recommended! I can not express how much Jo has helped me deal with several different traumatic experiences I have had to face. I have seen her on and off as needed for a few years now. She opened my eyes, gave me a different point of view, pulled me out of some dark places and gave me tools to manage my stress, anxiety and toxic people. All at a price I could actually afford! I am in a much better place because of her.

I have seen Jo off and on for many years. She has helped me individually and through couples therapy. She is the only therapist I have ever felt safe with and always gives honest and constructive feedback. She is not afraid to tell you the things you may not want to hear. I don't know where I would be without her help through some very difficult times.

My family has used the William A. Presti center for years helping my children and the whole family with anxiety and depression issues. Joshua and Jo are very good at what they do and have made it possible for my children to be able to strike out on their own. I highly recommended the whole center. They are professional and very caring.

My husband and I are guardians for my teenage niece with mental problems, contributed from her parents life style, addictions on both sides and mental illiness.

When I first contacted William A Presti Center, I was at my wits end, no one would help either too booked or she wasn't hurting herself. Finally emailed in a Friday night, they responded on Saturday and Sunday, WOW!

They chose Joshua as her therapist best decision we made. He has done wonders for her and she likes him!

I highly recommend this place! I've been going here off and on for a good 5 years now. Speaking with Jo has made me understand life so much better now. I struggled with fear & anxiety when I first started going here and the steps she gave me help me through it all. If you are looking for someone to talk to you need to go see her! My Children and I have all received Counseling from the William A. Presti Center with excellent out-come. Their Marriage counselors are excellent. And were able to assist me in moving on from an unhealthy Marriage. I have been working with various counselors from this center for over the past 8 years. Nine years ago, after a sudden and ugly divorce, my children were suffering and unable to cope with life in a healthy way. After therapy and the grace of God all three of my children are doing wonderful. My daughter has learned how to engage in healthy relationships and cope with stress and has recently completed an Associates degree. My son has also completed his BS at MSU and starting his own business. My youngest son is now in 8th grade. He has mild autism and ADD. Amy, his Counselor has assisted him with socialization and healthy mechanisms to deal with his disabilities. He is now engaging with friends and family and enjoying new adventures. This Center is a Blessing. I highly recommend. AWESOME..

Joshua Routhier is a wonderful counselor. I began sessions with him Spring of last year and I've been seeing tremendous positive change in myself and in my life ever since.

I'm afraid of therapy from past experience and I've never previously trusted or connected with a counselor. I have high walls and run away from deeper connections. I feel that I have been greatly challenged to see the flaws in my own reasoning and to continue pushing myself to be the best version of myself. He encourages me to continue growing and doesn't judge me for being myself or where I am at at the moment. I finally feel validated and that has allowed me to become more emotionally consistent over time.

I had no idea what kind of hurt I had locked inside myself but he has walked with me through the fire since the beginning. I'm very grateful to him and for the empathy I didn't know I needed so that I could learn to treat myself with more empathy. I'm capable of deeper connections with other people than I ever was before as a result.

I look forward to my sessions now, regardless of what they bring up, because I know that being open to therapy and willing to divulge information about myself I never thought I would has allowed me to become more open to the world and all it has to offer.
