Blo Blow Dry Bar

I’ve been using this location for blowouts for more than 5 or 6 years, and I consider these amazingly hardworking women a part of my extended family now. They are professional, highly skilled, reliable, good listeners when I have feedback on my hair, and they communicate with each other about my hair’s needs if I need to use a stylist other than my regular go-to’s. They make my life easier by simply doing their jobs exceptionally well and communicating easily when things come up. I go once a week and look forward to seeing them when I do, knowing I’ll have a relaxed experience and always leaving with my hair looking amazing and lasting several days. I highly recommend this location.

They were very friendly upon arriving and immediately started with my daughter's hair while I was offered something to drink while I waited. They were very fast and efficient, my daughter's loved the way their hair came out

This was my first time going to a blo bar and I was super impressed! The person who did my hair was Amara and I left feeling fabulous. I have natural curly hair and at this salon my hair was left in great condition. I also love that she discovered my new favorite place to part my hair - so now I know I can wear a full side part - #winning!!

Andrea is the reason I gave the rating of 5 stars. I have never had such an amazing blow out experience. She somehow managed to be so so gentle on my head and hair while also giving me the smoothest neatest blowout I've ever had. So thankful for her! Today is day 3 of my blowout and it still looks amazing!!

I was SO nervous the first time I went to Blo BHam. I don’t often treat myself to spa services so I feel out of place when I go into most any salon.

Everyone was welcoming and friendly. And the appointment experience was DIVINE. I keep coming back with different style ideas and each time I go in, I leave feeling pampered and fabulous!

I absolutely love Blo in Birmingham! I’ve used several blow out bars and this one is by far my favorite. They have experience in all hair types (I’m mixed race with curly hair) and my blow outs come out flawless! Shea is my absolute favorite stylist. She’s super knowledgeable, customer oriented and gets it right every single time. I’d recommend Shea and Blo 100 times over!

I had the BEST first blow dry bar experience here recently! My stylist was incredibly kind, friendly, and personable! The salon was very clean and cute, and the process was quick but relaxing. I would definitely recommend the location and my stylist to anyone. :)

This is the best place for a blowout. I have had blowouts many places and at many salons and most of them do not understand curly hair. Usually after a humid day my hair is frizzy again. This place gets it. The blowout stays for days, no frizz. If you have curly hair, this is the place for you!

I had a great experience, the staff was super kind and accommodating, and my hair looks amazing! I've gotten so many compliments already, and it's only been an hour!

Michelle was AMAZING! I had my first visit just a few days ago and I’ll definitely be back! She was gentle and thorough. She gave me options, listened to my needs, and not only understood but also executed the assignment. Did I mention the mimosas!

I absolutely love this place!!! I try to go anytime I just need someone else to do my hair. I've had multiple stylists and every time I think "why don't I do this more often" as they are washing my hair. Every time I leave I feel refreshed, not just because I look good but also because my overall experience is so positive. Everyone is so friendly, kind and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend visiting....often. :)

I rely on BLO for every event, special occasion, vacation, or wedding I attend because the way they style my hair allows it to stay in place for DAYS. 10/10 recommend!

These people saved my engagement photos! My original place cancelled on me 2 hours before my pictures. Ensue panic mode!! Thankfully Blo was able to take me last minute and Mary was so patient and kind. She made me feel at ease, and my hair looked beautiful! Everyone there was so understanding and nice. I had an appointment with Christina for my hair, and Heather for my makeup for a wedding I had couple weeks ago. Both girls were amazing, as busy as the salon was, they took their time and put care and effort. I received soo many compliments on my hair and makeup. I always leave this place feeling great. Great experience every time and wonderful staff!!

I absolutely have become obsessed with getting blowouts since I came here. Brianna and Katie are the best! My hair lasts a week, everyone is super friendly and they even offer you champagne! I would highly recommend to anyone.

Every trip to Blo has been exceptional. I’ve used both the hair and makeup services for special occasions. I’ve taken my 12 year old daughter and friends there for pampering. No matter what the event, the Blo staff and services consistently exceed our expectations.

They saved my engagement photo day. The hair dresser I always go to canceled the day before (Sunday) and so many places are closed on Mondays. They were able to fit me in and I receive compliments on my hair from those pictures all the time!

Andrea L did a really great job and was super fast I was having a crazy day and to have my hair done and looking nice always helps 💜
