Tyee Restaurant and Hotel

Had a great time. Stayed the night, had dinner, and then breakfast the next day. Service was great and personable, like you were visiting an old friend. Great food. Chicken tenders were an 11 out of 10.

Great laid back atmosphere. Staff was so friendly, felt like we had been going there for years. Great room!

Only there for lunch. Grocery store across the street and waterfront has some great places to shop and dine only a few blocks away.

Restuarant, I usually love this place but I got food poisoning and I mean immediately after I ate I started getting sick on my short ride home. I had the fish and chips that I always love here, but my last piece of fish was very fishy and I tasted it all night long! I love breakfast here and the French dips and I wish I could get a good steak or prime rib, but now all they have is sirloin from what I see on the menu Christmas eve. We were happy they were serving dinner, a lot of restaurants closed here in coupeville and oak harbor and after a day of last minute shopping a good meal would have been nice. Considering that I was doing all the cooking the next day, I would have loved to have seen any of the many restaurants that we frequent, open for it's regular patrons. Just saying.

I live in the area so I haven't used the hotel part of the business but the breakfast is probably the best on the island the pancakes are just the perfect fluffyness and amazing service I have been there a plethora of times and am yet to have the food bad/ cold and no bad service I definitely recommend having breakfast here or any meal for that matter if your in the area

I've never had a room but the restaurant is great. It has a family friendly vibe, home meal choices that are delicious, as well as classic and special treats. My go to.... Deep fried mushrooms and an Arnold Palmer.

Wow the food was amazing! The waitress was fabulous always checking to see if drinks needed to be filled friendly and kind. The food was out quickly ! Thank you for a good rest after a very long day of work

The best breakfast I’ve had in years! I ordered hash browns and toast. It looked like a food photography photo when it came out. Hash browns were brown and crisp, not greasy and soft on the inside. Amazing! Toast was toasted and not burned.

Pros:
It tastes even better than it looked.
It was good enough that ordered it a second time because I wanted more.

Service - the people could not have been nicer. They were the right amount of attentive.

Cons:
I live too far away to eat here more often.

Don’t be misleading by some of the negative reviews. We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast here. The waitress was really energetic and the food was good too. The interior is pretty charming in its own way too.

The bartenders take care of you, especially if you need it. Food is stick to your ribs good. The specials are fun and the locals look forward to them. Only go there if you need new friends for life. God bless 'em.

On first reaction, the personell are exemplar and professional. The room is very nice and very clean. Fridge and microwave in room nice flat screen tv. I'm very satisfied. After I woke up first morning there I had one of the best breakfasts ever since my mom made me pancakes on a Saturday morning. Andy is one fine cook!!

Timeless diner restaurant with all you'd expect. Beer battered cod made a great change from the usual breaded fish. The Irish Nachos go well with an ice cold beer.

Friendly staff, efficient service. Nice place.

Best dang cocktail you'll get in Coupeville - as well as the local news. Actual pub house that lives up to the historic term.
The have limited vegan options - yet are modernizing with the new ownership

I had an amazing Reuben sandwich with my wife and one of our friends. I will be going back for the food, service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant was clean with a very homey atmosphere. When we were finished with our delicious sandwiches we were not rushed out add in most restaurants, but sat and enjoyed our conversation. The Tyee is a wonderful piece of Coupeville's history, well worth stopping by and trying.

Used to eat here with my wife and the in-laws. The in-laws are gone, sadly, but now I get to eat the pancakes!

A Blessing! We arrived on our boat at 7am and starving. Nothing close was open so we made the walk from the marina and it was well worth it. Food was awesome and we will be back for our annual San Juan trip. Biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict were bomb!! Thank you, thank you!
