I love Batata Cafe! We’ve been fans forever. Everything is always delicious and fresh. I had the pleasure of catering from Batata for a party this weekend. Everything was a huge hit! Nicole knows exactly how to guide you with what to order. She was so helpful with everything. The portions are generous and the sandwiches have just the right flavors. There is something for everyone on their menu. Thank you Batata Cafe!

Catered an event this past Tuesday. Nicole and her team were extremely helpful with picking out the right foods and coordinating delivery. The food arrived on time, the 80+ attended at the event absolutely loved everything we had purchased. There was a huge variety of allergy friendly items. We will 10/10 be using them again for future events.

Batata catering our family gatherings has become a tradition. Sandwiches and sides were a huge hit as always! Brother in law said “these sandwiches are epic”…My neice said the chicken w honey mustard was her favorite sandwich ever!!

Love their housemade veggie burgers! So fresh and yummy. Real food vegan options are hard to come by on LI. Worth driving from anywhere on LI to come here for their vegan menu.

The food is excellent and the staff are amazing. Sit outside or inside. Wide selection of foods and everything tastes great.

This place is a total hidden gem! I just went in looking for coffee, and they have a wide selection of quality coffees, chocolates, baked goods, salads, and so much more. And they have a lot of vegan and gluten free goods as well, for those who are so inclined. Great food, great atmosphere, great service!

Batata is a top LI cafe. Maybe the top. And they also have burgers and fries if you're with people who aren't adult enough to eat something with some vegetables. What's not to love?

Love this cafe! An excellent choice for those who are looking for healthy choices and for vegans and vegetarians. They also have delicious coffee and desserts. The staff is always helpful and courteous. It's a feel-good, cozy place to stop in and sit on that comfy couch, enjoy the sun by the window, all year long. Love the manager who always seems to be there.

We order from Batata often and love their menu (especially the turkey gouda and vegan spicy Caesar!), and so we ordered catering from them for our daughter's first birthday party this past weekend and could not have been happier! The bbq package was delicious, as were all of the sides. We also got a large sub, several side salads, and a latter of veggie/vegan sandwich and wrap options. Our guests raved about the food and the bbq was so incredibly tender and flavorful. Great place for every day, and also highly recommend for your next event!

The food is very good here and there is a wide selection too choose from. The kern fries with maple dip are excellent but not the healthiest option. Also, the staff are very friendly. It's nice to sit outside on a nice day.

Me and my mom went for lunch and they have a variety of things that people can choose from vegetarian to vegan and gluten free options. I got the white bean burger. We split a black bean soup. Really good. We all loved it. The black bean soup with a white bean burger are amazing. Good service. Friendly staff. If you're ever in the area, go check it put. You will keep going there for ever and ever that's how good it is.

The absolute best place for good food. I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is fresh, generous portions, homemade and delicious. The atmosphere is adorable. You can sit down or take to go. The salads are the best and they have the best vegan menu you'll find around. Would recommend 10/10.

The food was delicious. We met up with family at Batata Cafe and as a result had a chance to test a few different dishes. The menu has a huge variety and clearly marked in order to keep track of food allergies or just diet preferences. I would highly recommend that you stop by and bring your kids since it is a child friendly place.

My go to for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There is something for everyone on the menu-meatlovers to vegans! I personally love trying all the different vegan burgers they have a new one each week ❤ and I'm not even a vegan. Cannot beat the Warm pleasant atmosphere and staff.

Cozy little place with an impressive selection of foods ranging from sandwiches/panini to beet salad, juices, and fresh smoothies. I enjoyed their grilled cheese and soup combo and their Berry Berry Good smoothie. Prices are reasonable. They also sell an assortment of local chocolates, ice cream cream, pickles, etc.

My favorite local breakfast/brunch/lunch spot! Delicious chai lattes, great quinoa dishes made daily, tons of GF+vegan options, and an excellent staff! Everyone is always in a cheery mood and the manager(/owner?) is an amazing woman. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Went there on Monday for family of 5 (3 kids). They did a great job and when combined with macadoos have a diverse selection to satisfy the pickiest eater. We had a grilled cheese, hot dogs, kids chicken tenders, ribs, and wings. All were well done and service was prompt. It was a little confusing when we first arrived into macadoos and it wasn’t clear where to order.

Love batata- the food is always great and they have a wide variety of GF and V food. Never had anything bad there. PLEASE bring back the old fries; the new ones are okay but the old one's were AMAZING! #bringbackthefries
