New York Sal's Pizza

First time eating New York Pizza, and I am so glad I tried it! I ordered pepperoni and green pepper personal pizza, and my husband ordered the philly cheese steak and fries (he is hard to please and he loved everything!) This place is clean, great quality and service and so tasty! They are so friendly, and if we ever come back to NY, we will definitely be going here again!

It's a walk up pizza place with seating for about 5 people, great service, pizza was good had the 2-cheese, margarita, and the spinach and mushroom, crust was crisp, flavor was good, overall not a bad representation of NY pizza, price was around 4-5 bucks a slice which was a little higher than some but worth it.

I love getting Sal’s Special Pizza, for which I choose tomato, bacon, mushrooms, and garlic. So tasty! *drooling* Garlic nots are good so long as I ask for extra garlic and olive oil—otherwise I find they can be a bit on the dry side. They always accommodate. Def one of my go-to spots for delivery. Highly recommend!

I bring my beautiful daughter here, all of the for not just the wonderful pizza, but also the wonderful smiles and greetings that we receive, when we come through the doors. You guys are "Awesome!"👍👍

We drove up from Baltimore for the motor trend show and decided we were going to hit a few pizza spots because i am a huge fan of pizza, first we hit sals, then we hit royal, and then we hit famous rays pizza and i have to say, sals was the absolute best. Fresh all around. Royal was second best and rays was just blah. Rays also charged us 23.00 for 3 slices of cheese when it should have only been 13.00 and while we were waiting for the pizza to come out of the oven, we went back to the cashier and he said we didn’t have a receipt so we could prove we were charged incorrectly. Check your receipts and totals before you leave rays or do your self and better one and not even go there.

Must stop pizza place in NYC, garlic knots are to die for!

Cute place with yummy pizza, great options

Went there looking for a perfect slice on our last day in New York and we found it! We had the lasagna pizza slice; perfect crunch on the bottom but still slightly chewy with a generous and robust marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella and other cheeses lightly browned on top. Delish!

I grew up eating Sal's pizza since the age of 4. I moved out of the area to work in Canada. Let me say, there is no place in Canada that can make pizza like Sal's. I've had pizza around the city, it doesn't compare either. Am I bias? Possibly, but they're delicious. Go for a slice. Great group of people who work there.

I loved it! Delivered straight to us, was worried about ordering, but it looked and tasted amazing! If you stay at the Holiday Day Inn Express on W. 48th, this pizza is a must have! Right down the block too!

The family special is the best pizza deal in Hell's Kitchen. They also deliver until really late when most other places are closed. I find the pizza is better when you order a whole pie.
