I support all police officers that risk their lives. HOWEVER, if you are not from the rich parts of town, dont expect help in a timely manor

Most disgusting police department out there. Don’t expect help from these little boys! This place needs to be shut down. Bunch of police on a power trip

After watching the destruction of private property of Afro-man I have referred this department to the DOJ and congressional members. For member of the public be careful around these clowns. They are suing because their faces were caught on the security cameras after finding nothing. Really bad police work so I'm left to presume that the Police itself is corrupt.

Unfortunately, I personally had to deal with a couple of Aurora’s officers & their so called Lieutenant. They were rude, disrespectful, & complete liars. I never thought I would see the day that I would loose trust in my local police department.

This whole department is ridiculous. I got in a car accident that was the fault of the other driver, but because it had been snowing that morning and the collision caused soft snow to fall from my roof onto my windshield, the officer at the scene tried to tell me that the collision would be my fault before even speaking to the other driver. He even ticketed me for it after the other driver was determined to be at fault and everyone else at the scene tried to tell him that the snow had obviously fallen onto the windshield because of the crash. He also did not give me anything other than the ticket, so I do not have a copy of the report number which I need to get a copy of the report. I can't file a claim with the other driver's insurance without it because everyone told me when I asked that the police would take care of everything. On top of it all, I can't even get in touch with the reports office of the police department because they were out until today (Monday), but when I called during their hours (they're open until 3), I was told they had just left for the day.
Thank you, Aurora Police Department, for completely screwing over an already lost 19 yr old girl.

My boyfriend got into a car accident. The cop never gave him back his license so we called and asked and he said “it’s lost” and that he would check his body cam footage and call him back. He never called. So we called again and spoke to the lieutenant and he said “it’s lost” and that he needs to go purchase a new one. So, we asked since you lost it are you going to pay for the new one? And he said no you have to pay for it! This is ridiculous! You took the license into your possession and “lost” it and expect him to go pay for the new one and not be reimbursed for your lack of awareness?!?!?!

RUDE, NASTY, DISRESPECTFUL...a few words to describe the 2 officers I was unlucky enough to have to deal with a few weeks back.
Never in my life have I been treated in such a horrendous way.
The Aurora Police Department should be ashamed...if these are the types of men you have representing your city
(along with the latest officer to make the headlines) somebody might want to make some changes ASAP!!!

I'd give 0 stars, but that's not possible.

Gave officer my insurance card and he failed to report that I had proof of insurance and now I have to pay the state of Ohio more money just to keep my driver's license
