Love their whole wheat sourdough, it’s not dry like other ww breads. Also love their vine and commitment to reducing waste, the to go coffee carrier is clever and so appreciated!

Gorgeous, bright, clean bakery with so many tasty sweet and savory options you’ll have a hard time choosing. Seasonal orange blossom latte was a unique and delicious flavor choice, and also bought the classic croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and the ricotta toast which was phenomenal.

Excellent pizza slices. The giant sourdough loaf is convincingly tangy. They serve the best savory, flakey and sweet pastries - Best in the Bay! Try the $10 frosted cinnamon rolls - wow! Worth the drive. (If you are in the mood for a salty reply, try asking for a 'large' coffee)

The best bakery for sourdough bread in Pacifica and Daly City.

I came across Rosalind 3 days ago through an article that listed Rosalind Bakery in their top 10 list in the entire Bay Area. A bakery in my backyard and I had no clue about it, this I had to investigate.

I placed an online order for their 60/40 sourdough, followed by their soup of the day, a vegan lemongrass sweet potato soup that comes with a side of, you know, what else, but some sourdough.

The order was ready within 15 minutes, and parking in the outdoor strip mall complex is plenty. I was greeted with a warm smile by Nick Gonzalez, who made the experience 5 stars.

While picking up, I started chatting with him about pizza - and yes they have pizza available with a focaccia base on weekends. Note to self - go there on a weekend to try their pizza.

Nick mentioned his favorite is the Coastside sourdough that his family loves (this is your classic sourdough loaf), and his ultimate go-to is the Rye Sesame (12% pumpernickel rye flour sourdough with toasted sesame seeds, not just outside, but on the inside as well!). I left my wallet in the car, so Nick offered me half a loaf at no cost. Who does that? So grateful I got to try it.

Both the loaves (or is it loafs) are crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. I asked Nick about the 'sweetness' in the description and he confirmed there is no sugar added. Any sweetness is natural. TBH I couldn't taste any sweetness.

I really like the bread. It's rich, decadent, you feel like a French royal, who was fortunate enough to get the best pain a la sourdough. This has the promise to beat Tartine. I preferred my bread toasted, with a dip of simply high quality astringent cold-pressed greek single estate olive oil. And on some bites, add a little extra sharp cheddar.

The soup was flavorful and a perfect dip for the sourdough slices that accompany it. With carrots, and a luscious emulsion of lemongrass creamy goodness (the creaminess from sweet potatoes). Spiced just right, to let the subtle flavors dance on your palette.

Rosalind checks all the boxes to become my go-to bakery. They sell out soon, so head there in the AM. And if you meet the wonderful Nick, say hello and get a taste of what every bakery should aspire to be.

I love this place. Flakiest pastries. My husband considers himself and almond croissant connoisseur and this is his top pic. I like the hibiscus and the seed roll. Their coffee is good too. This is really high quality baked goods. Last time there was a cool old man jam band playing on a Friday morning. I try and stop in most mornings after my longer run on my way home. I’m glad I don’t live in manor because otherwise I would be broke eating 2 meals a day here.

An excellent bakery opened in Pacifica! Rosalind offering the local croissants I have been looking for! Layered, buttery, crispy flaked outside delicious creations to satisfy your croissant craving. The interior is warm and welcoming. Prices are great for their top shelf products. Looking forward to more mornings here. I recommend Rosalind Bakery in Pacifica!

I've always loved the bread that Matt has made! The bread is really good and wholesome. It may be on the pricier side, but it's because there owner actually likes for his employees to have a reasonable wage. The food served here is also very good! The photo I included with this review its the grilled cheese with an egg. While it may look strange due to its red hue, the flavor was delicious! The mocha i also got was a really good example of a tasty mocha coffee. 10/10 will still continue to shop here and support this great local business but also still continue to recommend to other!

Everything we tried was delicious - chocolate croissant, bread, veggie sandwich of the day& egg sandwich, cookies. I loved the pimento cheese on the egg sandwich just wish I could have added some avocado or bacon! This plane is worth the drive from SF! I wish we had bought some extra cookies!

This is a class x act with few equals and one of the best bakeries in the Bay area. They have great success and opened a second location in San Francisco.

Great bakery. I've only gone once, and I got a egg/avocado sandwich and an almond croissant.

Both items that I ordered were very tasty and the breads were very fresh.

Service was good, though slightly slow (but it was very busy on a weekend morning)

I will stop by again next time I am in the area.

Exceptional artisinal breads, pastries, 'walking cinnamon sugar bread sticks', cookies, coffee and sauerkraut. They even have pizza dough and seed bread (a personal favorite every weekend). Rosalind knows bread and bakes love into every loaf. Only the very best ingredients too baked by the best people. A weekly ritual in our family. Go early and get yours before they sell out.

Delicious sourdough bread! We love stopping by their stand at the Pacifica farmers market on Wednesday and coming by for breakfast on the weekends. Everything is delicious & worth every cent. Super friendly service, too.

Old world bread, crusty on the outside and soft and grainy on the inside. Although I have not tried the pizza or croissants I can vouch for the bread. Everything looks good here.

Beautiful baked goods in a chill location.
I've lived in Pacifica since '68 and Pacific Manor has changed multiple times over the decades. This bakery is a wonderful edition.

Was in the area for a job interview and decided to stop here after. Best cinnamon roll I have had. Croissant was buttery, flaky, and just right. Might have to accept the job just to be close to this spot, lol. Joking aside, glad I stopped in.

They have the best sourdough bread in the Bay Area, in my opinion.
They also have a selection of delicious pastries, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, and even pizza slices.

The staff are also always friendly and efficient.
