Hunan Express

Probably the best Chinese food I’ve had! The crab Rangoon & wonton soup are amazing. Also get the sweet and sour chicken, lo mein, and rice. Only con is it’s a little expensive but worth it to me !!

Have been coming to Hunan for over a decade and it seems to just get better. You just can’t find Chinese takeout that’s this quality and tastes SO good.

We got Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein (no mushrooms), sweet & sour chicken and an order of pork fried rice. Everything in the order was correct and carried out hot and fresh. All of this food was only $32.

This is the first time I’ve tried their Mongolian beef and omg… new favorite for sure! I’ll be honest, I’m kinda picky with my Chinese takeout and this is exceptional.

Inside of establishment is honestly pretty gross. Greasy floors, countertops grimy. I will say, you can't see the kitchen at all, which is probably a good thing BUT the food that comes out of this place, is some of the VERY best Chinese food I've ever had. I'm the type to find something wrong everywhere and I'm very picky. This place is fairly priced, wait time was completely acceptable and staff at counter was super friendly. Pork lo mein and egg rolls were delicious 😋

Best Chinese takeout around. The portions are enough for 2 meals. Food is always hot and fresh.

I love this restaurant, there's nothing not to love. The people are great, lightning, fast service, and the prices are shockingly low. Low. I moved to Aurora in 2012, single father and eating out was something I needed to do while we were getting settled in. In. The first place that I ate at was Hunan Express. I'll spare you the details, I'm writing this in 2023 and we eat there at least once. If not twice a month. Try the shrimp and lobster sauce with shrimp fried rice, in my opinion, it's the best on the menu. You will love this place

Hunan Express is pretty cut and dry, not much to the restaurant. However, the food was good and prepared fast! Seems to be a small family owned business. Kudos to them for providing good quality food.

Hands down my favorite Chinese takeout place. The family who owns this are so caring and take extra care and consideration when preparing their entrees. For example, they hand make their wontons so every day they're fresh; the first Chinese place I've ever seen make wontons with shrimp and pork. Easily the most delicious I've ever tasted; I come there just for those alone. Overall, high quality food made by high quality staff.

Quick, tasty, and priced priced. Well established staple in Aurora. You do have to emphasize HOT if you want it spicy. We enjoy the Crab Rangoon, general Toas and beef - broccoli.

Always hot and fresh. The House fried rice and moo goo gai pan is my goto! They have been in the same location for 20 plus years!

The food here is great and with the bonus that I can get two meals out of one small portion. I really like the Kung Po Beef or Shrimp and their Egg Foo Yung is light and delicious.

Great food and the owner and her family are very nice! Also have good Gluten Free options.
