Great place for live music and food at reasonable prices. It's the locals spot. It's within the Carlsbad campground so it's perfect to enjoy daily sunsets while you stay there. Great for kids too. Direct access to the beach. No parking on site unless you have a campsite.

What an amazing place! Great atmosphere, amazing view of the sunset, live music, a fantastic pizza and great beers.

Great place to see live music and enjoy a nicely priced beer or bottle of wine. I have lived in Carlsbad for 15 years and only just discovered this gem of a sunset location. They have live music several times a week but the vibe of the people is vacation, family, and slow living. I will definitely come back again. Oh yeah, they also sell the basics for camp needs like firewood, snacks, and propane bottles. My kids chose some ice cream and we all enjoyed the sunset from comfy chairs by a fire!

The live band was very talented. The pizzas were great! And the vibe was chill and happy. It looks like locals and those staying at the campground (the Camp Store is located within the campground) all enjoyed the place. What can get better than an evening with music and food on bluff overlooking the beach and ocean!?

Shout out to the Camp Store crew! We live locally and love coming for live music and a view, especially during the summer. It’s our favorite spot in Carlsbad!

Super cool little store at this camp site. We didn't camp here but walked over. They are really nice, have lots of items in the store, and sell hot food and drinks. There was live music in the evening. The beach is beautiful and ppl surf here. Really enjoyed the location and the food/drinks were great! Check them out!

Nothing like an excellent 3 cheese pizza and a great sunset. Maybe a band, sure!

Great atmosphere and live music. Delicious pizza and beer. Owner Anthony was very friendly and helpful. He was able to accommodate the table for 11 people on Labor day at the last minute. We will definitely come back.

Great spot with a really beautiful view. Kids had a blast. Service was a little slow but it matches the vibe... Don't be in a hurry. We will definitely be back.

Great place for pizza overlooking the Pacific.
Nice small venue for live music - all outdoor seating on picnic tables with umbrellas.
The pizzas are excellent - all are 10" - just right for hungry individuals, or two could share and have some other snacks.
We had a Margarita and a Positano - both delicious.
I also had the jalapeno poppers, which were the day's special, and those were also delicious.
Next time we might try one of their two salads - Mediterranean or Caesar.
Music was great - Gary Seiler and "California Dreamin" (or as they also called themselves "Jackie and the Sea Dogs"). Gary Seiler on lead guitar and vocalist, Jackie Powers on steel drum, and Gerry "Dog" Walker on bass.
Had a great sunset to finish off the music and dinner.
Oh - and they also have a good selection of draft beers. Plus, as an actual store for the campers, they have a well-stocked refrigerator and shelves of other beers, seltzers, kombucha, and wines.
The only caveat is parking - or lack thereof. There is no parking for the Camp Store - only for those renting camping spaces in the campground. So, if you are coming for the music, dinner, and sunset, you need to park in the Ralph's parking lot located an easy and safe walk about a half mile east at Poinsettia and Avenida Encinas.

I love that they plan their music way in advance. Check out their Instagram or website for the music calendar. They have fresh local beer on draft, plus wines, canned craft beer, pizzas, and fried snacks. Lots of seating on site, although it gets packed on weekends. Walk from Ralph's or bring your ebike. There's no parking for non camping guests. Usually loads of locals. Great place to listen to music and watch the sunset.

Great little spot if you can find it

How lucky are these visitors to the Carlsbad campgrounds. Best weather, awesome views of the coast and and walking distance from the beach. Now this completely redesigned Camp store that includes a fully stocked store plus kitchen with amazing food, drinks and live entertainment. ( See their website for dates). Well designed facility at the campground brings locals who live in the area as well as visitors together to enjoy the best of what North county is known for.Exspect to mingle with locals and visitors while enjoying the best local/coastal views, current craft brews fresh brick oven pizza & live bands . "Good as it gets". 6 stars!!

A local friend recommended the Camp Store. Really laid back spot near the Carlsbad beach. Great live music, food, drinks & stunning ocean view! Highly recommend!

What a great venue! Delicious pizza; Positano had an excellent thin, crispy yet soft crust with with a healthy amount of fresh arugula on top. Reasonable beer prices. Incredible view and a fun band on Friday evening. Parking was easy at the public lot North of the SP at 2:30pm.

Places like this are special, what a great local community vibe. Live music from the Swinging Johnsons, with some great guitar solos and vocals. Some serious mobile homes as you walk to the toilets.

Sunset pizza and music here is the definition of beach SoCal awesome

Always a great night when they have live local music, good food and great local beers - and of course the best sunset / dolphin/ whale view in the town. Loved by locals and campers alike.
