Lofty Coffee La Costa

When in the north county San Diego area, Lofty Coffee - La Costa is one of my favorite places. The coffee, food, and service are amazing.

The staff's service and friendly demeanor contribute to the inviting atmosphere, making customers feel genuinely welcome.

Lofty roasts their own coffee and has a variety of crafted coffees. The selection of pastries and food items complement the drinks, adding to the overall experience.

The quality of the coffee and food and the overall service and ambiance makes Lofty Coffee what it is. Lofty is an excellent spot for those seeking wonderful coffee and food in a charming setting

Had a sweet lunch at Lofty today. The workers were really sweet and my turkey avocado croissant was delicious. I also ordered an iced matcha with chai and oat milk and it was oh so tasty!

Excellent coffee. It was highly recommended and I know why. Good roast and taste to my cold brew. Had a taste of an espresso and it was MUCH better than the "trendy chain place that likes creepy fish women" espresso. I had a Lofty-Style Nola cold brew and and it was a good coffee flavor and was very very good. I also had the Organic Acai Bowl and all the ingredients were fresh and the bowl was worth getting. My group had a variety of their other coffees and everyone had positive feed back. The french toast was not something I bought, but a friend in the group did and they wouldn't shut up about it...seriously. 😉

Come in with expectations of good coffee and good food and you will leave happy. Value for the cost. Cheap is cheap but good is worth what it costs and this place is the latter.

Fantastic coffee. My favorite coffee shop in Encinitas. Friendly staff and very good choices on coffee. My favorite is Turkish latte. Infused with cardamom and raw sugar ☕

Great spot to meet with a friend or get some work done. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Lofty has always been a great place. Good personal service and conversation. They only hire happy people. As you can see from my pics I’m a big deal at Lofty.

This is niche coffee place with nice breakfast. I ordered the coffee and a French toast. French toast was amazing. I did order both at the same time so the coffee became clod ( I should have ordered the coffee later) . Niche surrounding and you will feel at home.

Really loving this Turkish latte. Had to get another one. Looking forward to trying the other items on the menu, but this alone is a reason to come back. Very kind staff. Spacious seating. Expensive drinks but they are worth it.

Excellent homemade chai! My husband and I stopped here on our bike ride to check it out. I got an iced chai latte with almond milk which was absolutely delicious and my husband got a decaf dark chocolate mocha with their homemade oat milk which he said was excellent. Nice breeze on the back patio, with shade.

All locations so far have been great. Friendly staff. Came on a Sunday morning, be aware of long lines when coming. Can’t go wrong here, will be back when I’m in the area next 💪

Great coffee, healthy breakfast and amazing baked goods. It’s always busy and is a bit expensive, but the quality is really high and sourcing of products is solid. Really appreciate the focus on serving many local/ sustainable/ organic ingredients including their milk and eggs.

Popular place. Located right off El Camino Real and La Costa Ave. in the recently renovated shopping center. Nice open space with outdoor patio seating. Plenty of room.

Turkish latte forever! I love all the Lofty's but this one is secretively my favorite. 🤫☕🥰

Always busy, but very fast service for is awesome, only negative is they run out of so many things by 10am sometime. They have this egg pastry thing. It's not sweet, but they call it a pastry and literally 50% of the time they are sold out by 9-10. I've encouraged them to make more to no avail, you can't sell what you don't have!

I visited this location of Lofty Coffee last weekend for an informal meeting with a client. The Turkish latte was delicious. There was plenty of seating with shade, and everyone was nice. I will definitely be coming back.

Turmeric latte, coffee, and gluten free donut were excellent. Service on the second day we were there was a little off - they were so busy! Overall, a great place! Thank you 🙏!

This is a must stop for my fiancé and I when we drive from LA/OC down to San Diego. It’s always pretty busy, but that’s because it’s so good! The americanos are great, and they have high quality decaf beans. Breakfast items/pastries are tasty as well. If you’ve got a little extra time, make the stop. You won’t regret it.

I love Lofty Coffee. The shop always has a pleasant vibe. The salted carmel latte is pretty good. But I do enjoy their turkish lattes. Its different and they dont overdo it on the turmic. Their food is really good and they use fresh ingredients. Overall its a pleasant experience.

I was grateful to find lofty coffee this morning.
The barista is so talented and I received an amazing latte with a heart on the top.
My eggs and avocados (to go) were excellent too.
The front desk employee was friendly and kind.
I would recommend you check out this great coffee shop.
The decor is so pretty too.
