Jimbo's

Jimbos is a lovely place to shop for fresh produce and flowers. They have a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and plants, all grown locally and organically. The prices are on the high side, but you get what you pay for.

On these cold day that we've had lately, there is always a good fresh soup ready made for easy pick up.

They have scented and moisturizing alcohol sanitizing wipes. I grabbed one on my way out and was so pleasantly surprised that it didn’t smell horrid or dry out my hands- thank you for this little detail of the shopping experience - I can’t stop smelling my hands.

Such nice friendly and helpful staff. Amazing merch. So much selection. all the grassfed beef and dry farmed tomatoes. wow. The great cheeses if the world are here. yum.

I love it here! High quality food, produce, beauty products at better prices than Sprouts. And everyone is kind and helpful.

I love the easy store access from the mall, lots of parking. The deli has many options and blueberry scones are great! They have a small section of kitchenware too!

This large Health Food Grocery Store is amazing with fresh, organic produce, a fabulous selection of supplements, as well as everything else to accommodate Vegans -or- Newcomers to healthy lifestyle foods.

A little pricey but it's great for organic and clean foods!

Good food; good selection; good people; great produce section; super high prices.

Let me mention a bit more about the produce section. It is HANDS DOWN the best produce in town. It is produce that tastes the way it did 30 years ago. Berries are sweet; mangoes are perfect; apples are wonderful - and it’s ALL organic. Well worth the price!

A very lovely store. I go whenever I am in the area. I think it's been recently refreshed in its layout and it's much better. The flow is easier and better, particularly on the two far ends of the store, the east and west sides. The hot lunch bar has wonderful selections for you to build a lunch ($9.99 a pound). Lots of vegetarian suggestions. The curry veggies with tofu is amazing. And I don't even like tofu. Add a small scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy and now you've got a hot lunch. 🤩

Very good shopping options for healthy focused (and new age) people. The store is midsized but they carry a broad selection of high quality products, products that are aligned with the philosophy of the place that is (you will find several organic bottled coffees, but not bottled Starbucks coffee, for example). Pleasant staff, too. Prices are not cheap but nothing out of the ordinary compared to similar stores

I got some good supplements and a juice from the store, good prices and tasted great!!!

Favorite place to shop. Fresh organic fruits and vegetables that always taste good. Products that I trust are good for me and my family. Meat department offers organic wild meat. And the people in the vitamin department are so knowledgeable, it's remarkable. True customer service here! It is pricey but worth it.

Awesome place. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend the Elixir w/CBD from the juice bar. Not that all the other juices aren't amazing as well

We drove 5 miles to Jimbos from our hotel to get what we heard was the best orange juice around...and it was even better than we expected. Better than Whole Foods and don’t get me started on Von’s. Don’t expect a bargain though—a quart costs as much as a half gallon at Whole Foods

Good parking & easy to find special health items. Deli offers nice selection of prepared foods.

I’ve been going to Jimbo’s for years, the absolute best. I went to his first store up off of University 30+ years ago but he has taken organic and healthy eating to a new level. Their produce is second to none, much better than Whole Foods or any other health food market in town.

Best health food stores in San Diego area, hands down.
Top quality produce. Unlike WholeFoods, there’s no need to double check if what you’re getting is organic everything in their produce section is.
And lots of local farmer support and showcasing.
Also, unlike WholeFoods, their juice bar is all organic.
People sometimes complain it’s too expensive but it’s important to support our local farmers and it all starts here. I think the quality is 100% worth it.
Also, if there is a quality item you need - write a request and they can often get it for you. I’ve suggested a few things I’ve discovered elsewhere and they now carry them.
I go out of my way to shop here, I’ve been to each store multiple times and they’re all great, especially Escondido where you can get your spices in bulk.
