First time here. Seems small when you arrive but don’t be fooled! There is a nice grass area with a picnic table for eating and whatnot. You do have to walk down some stairs to get to the actually beach itself but it’s not many and they aren’t too steep. The beach itself is like most beaches. Rocks, sand, driftwood. Beautiful view, our course. There weren’t many people here when we were there.there isn’t a lot of parking, so I could see that being an issue on a busy day, but it was just fine when we were there. Also, there is a port-a-potty on site, should you really need to go!

Magnificent. Few places match the views. On top of that most people don't even know about the place. Many sunsets alone. Just me and the waves. Come when the tide is lower or in the summer so you can walk on the beach. Winter months prove harder to do so.

Very small park with very nice views. Not much parking. We came early on a Friday morning and had the park to ourselves. At low tide you can walk on the rock beach. The colors of the rocks are amazing. Update: at low tide in late June there where little crabs everywhere!!!

Nice hidden little gem. Great beach. The cliff bluffs were amazing. Those houses must have amazing views. Small parking area, vault toilet, picnic area.

Such a beautiful, and different, beach. This is 90% rocks/pebbles. You can walk quite a ways along it, but be aware of the tide, it can come up high and block you from the access point. If you can stay a while, find a spot to sit and just listen. The sound of the waves rolling the rocks as it goes in and out is quite an experience.

Amazing quiet small park. Outstanding views. Even has a looking Glass to look out over the sound. Plenty grass for a picnic I would definitely recommend going here.

Best spot for sunset photos

Nice park at the end of Libby Road. Most of the time this park is empty and you have the entire place to yourself. TIP: Grab some folding chairs and sit on the ledge to the left of the stairs. You will be above the waves in a little private spot with 180 degree views of the west sound looking out towards Vancouver island.

The absolutely best beach on the island.
The most beautiful rocks I've ever seen. Be careful of sneaker wave.

Stunning views of the Olympic Mountains across the Strait of Jean de Fuca. Wild and rugged beaches stretch in both directions for hiking and exploration (check tides for safety). Excellent vantage point for birding and marine mammal sightings.

Quiet little park, full of deer. Beach is amazing at low tide! Very clean!!

First thing to know, there is no beach access at high tide. You can access the beach at lower tides. You could also watch the water from the top of the bulkhead if the tide is in.
The beach is at the bottom of high cliff walls. It's fun to explore.
There is a Porta potty here. I haven't seen this place very busy before but parking is limited.

Beautiful sunsets! Your can go down to the rocky beach.

Small park at the end of a road but nice. Make sure you go when the tide is on its way out for more time to explore the beach.

Small community park with porta potty available and beach access. Great place to watch sunset.

Beautiful day to go remember my beautiful mother on the one year anniversary of her passing.

Beautiful beach!
On the negative side. There's no toilets so get prepared or pee in the water if you plan on staying for a while. When the tide is high, there's no more beach area to walk on. There's barely any sand, it's mostly rocks so don't bother bringing your shovels and buckets, no sand castle happening here.
Buuuut, It's definitely one of the most beautiful spot to watch the sunset on whidbey Island! By August There's lots of tiny crabs my kids love to catch them and we free them all before we go back home. You can see lots of different little sea creatures if you take the time to look. The cliffs also gives a different view then most flat beaches.

We saw so many different types of sea creatures, because of the was so low.

I've been to this wonderful place literally over 100 times probably closer to 200 but I still get super excited as I pull down to lower parking area and take in the scenery!
Honestly this beach helped my psyche during the first 6 months of covid entering our state. For me it's a Lil magical to perch here and just be present letting everything wash away with each wave rollin backwards out to sea. I would tell anyone reading or listening to come see for yourselves. As for me it's worth the 1.75 hour drive each way even on a rainy chilly day.

My favorite beach on north whidbey. This past week we found some absolutely amazing petrified wood chunks and chalcedony nodules that are so unique and rare. I hope people reading this will take some time and check it out because it's definitely worth the drive for a special outdoor experience that awaits them happy, rock hounding y'all!
