East Beach Park

Wonderful beach to visit. Shallow shoreline with plenty of rocks and shells to sort through. Fun at low and high tide. Maybe you'll see a container ship pass by like we did. Some fun driftwood shelters have been made that are fun for the little ones to play in. Local regulars to this beach are very friendly and inviting.

Beautiful beach with spectacular views and interesting geological formations. I have no idea what people are talking about regarding access. We hiked a couple miles out and back.

Sandy expanse at first, and then a rather rocky walk for a lot of it, but completely worth the occasional ankle wobble. I imagine the tide situation played a part in that. Facilities and free parking. Lovely island park. Bring a picnic.

It's beautiful. And they have a port a John, which is great when your office is your truck sometimes. And if you play Pokemon Go, your dudes stay at that gum a long time. But mostly it's beautiful and people can takes dogs on the beach, and if the bacteria isn't bad and you have your paperwork, there's probably good shellfish to be found. Five stars!

Love this rural beach. My kids, my girlfriend, and my dog enjoy it as well. Don't try to fly a drone there. . . Its a no fly zone due to the military base. I couldn't figure out why my drone would not take flight, and then I opened the mobile app. It explained I wouldn't be able to fly my drone due to the military.

It's the best beach so far!! But if you're out of town and visiting beware of the locals they are not all very friendly 😓😓 I recommend going in the early morning or late evening.

Very easy access and nice, clean beach

Wonderful walks on the beach both North and south. If there is two cars, it's crowded! Dog friendly and they love the Sandy expanses!

On a clear day, you can see Baker & Rainier. Nice place to walk on a sandy beach. Feels sort of private.

This is the best place to swim in January. The drift wood is fun to balance on and the people are great.
