Loved this place. I gave this place 5 stars on everything because it's true. All 5 of us ordered a different meal and each dish, including 3 appetizers were absolutely fantastic! Coming back for certain.

Hadn’t been back here in years and was happy to discover that it’s still so good. The Tartare is one of my most favorites ever. John at the bar is wonderful too and everything is very consistently delicious and well priced.

Amazing southern American restaurant in Corvallis! Definitely give a credit for southern American restaurants, you can barely find any in Oregon.

I love their food taste and drinks too, I think it’s actually better than most of the 3 $ signs restaurants.

Service are nice but it can be long wait even tho you sit down. I visited here couple time and it average take you 2 hours to finish your meal.

This was wonderful! It’s much bigger in the inside than we thought. We are a group of 8 traveling for work and every order was exceptional. Risotto, filet, shrimp and grits, pork chops and even the sliders were all fantastic and the service is 10/10.
We will return.

Wonderful dinner at Castor! We did sharing style and tried several dishes. Good vegetarian options overall, the celery root gnocchi was my highlight. Everything tasted fresh and I love that they source locally. The interior is cute and comfortable, but I was quite cold throughout the dinner and wish inside were warmer.

Probably the best place to eat in Corvallis that I’ve been to, on my work trips. Upscale atmosphere, delicious food and drinks and service to match. Highly recommend to those looking for a higher end meal and service. The brussel sprouts with pork belly is so good I could eat it for every meal!

I am impressed by their dishes. It's a beautiful place hiding in downtown. You need to wait a little bit longer than you expect the time when your dishes come up. So I recommend people who is not in a rush and have long conversations with friends or family when coming to this place. Nice atmosphere. The price is a little bit high but it's worth it.

10 Stars!!! The food here is not just good, it’s best of the best!! Some of the best I’ve ever had and I travel the country for a living!! Again proving that the food in Corvallis is some of the best anywhere. I’ve been amazed in my hometown again! Thank you to the staff at Castor, great service, great food, great in every way!!! The shrimp and grits is fabulous, The Filet, unbelievable!!! The pork chop….absolutely amazing!! Castor was recommended to me by a local friend and I can’t say enough good things about it!! The ingredients are top tier, cooked to perfection and will be worth every second of the time it takes to get it to you!!! I just can’t say enough about how amazing this place is!! Must try!!!

Walking in feels like a bustling yet intimate atmosphere. Tapestries hung throughout and there is a labryinth of small semi-private dining areas that are perfectly lit. Full bar with fresh made drinks. Appetizers and entrees that can meet any palette with local ingredients. Staff were awesome, inviting and knowledgeable with a pleasantly slow cadence that allowed for a great experience. The appetizer menu reached just a little and had fun flair unique to this establishment. Downtown parking. Prices were ok considering quality and portions.

Really loved this place and the delicious menu. The PBLT was sooo good. Also loved the soup special (melon) and homemade fries. This place will be a favorite when in Corvallis! Very busy little spot which is easy to understand when eating there.

Eating here was such a treat. The food was by far the best I’ve had in Corvallis. Castor’s menu has been carefully curated, with each entree incorporating tasteful ingredients that I never imagined would pair well. I will be dreaming of the scallops I had here for a while.

Late night happy hour menu. Steak frite was cooked perfectly rare. Fries, excellent.
Can’t wait to go back for the regular menu.

Best restaurant in town. Food was excellent, employees and customers were a delight. If aliens came to CorVegas, I’d tell them, “Eat at Castor’s, it’s the best around. Oh and order an old fashioned rum and airplane ;p.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The establishment itself is very cozy and relaxing. The food was very good but a bit unbalanced flavor wise. I myself had a fried chicken sandwich and tasted mostly the specialty mayo and pickled zucchini. Other than that it was wonderful. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a spot for lunch.

Really pleasant. I enjoyed going earlier in the day because it's less busy. Food is delicious, my filet mignon was cooked perfectly.

Went for a drive from Eugene and wound up In Corvallis. Looked up restaurants on line and found Castor. We got lucky and got a table. Gotta say best damn meal I’ve had in a very long time! Hats off chef! Service was on point! Everyone so welcoming & personable. Was craving vegetable’s (never not get meat) had the Fall Vegetable & Lentil’s. Mom got happy hour filet mignon. We were both practically licking our plates. Definitely will go Day Tripping to Corvallis again just for another meal!

Our first time eating at Castor was really special. We chose to do the food and wine pairing menu and every course and every glass of wine was truly delicious, unique, and beautiful. We were waited on by one of the owners because they were so bustling and busy on a Saturday night and he took excellent care of us with great conversation and insight. We have been telling everyone we know to come eat here! We know fine dining and this is fine dining right here in Corvallis.

Wow! Corvallis has a great restaurant. It’s cool to see this place doing amazing stuff in the best college town in Oregon!

Best new place for food! The atmosphere is clean and well-decorated. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is incredible! There's no sign yet, but is directly across from Miss Meers.
