Nim's House of Thai Food

I am thoroughly surprised as to how good the Thai food is here. As a thai person, I never expected to experience 'authentic' thai food in Fairbanks, especially with certain menus consisting of homemade noodles!

Yum! I had heard a lot of people talk about how awesome this place was, so I finally made time to get a to-go order for my lunch today. I ordered the NIM noodles, spicy. And guess what? It was ACTUALLY spicy! And yummy! Noodles on the thicker/wider side, which is my preference. I also got a Thai green tea. Great service, very homey vibe in the restaurant.

The best Thai food we've ever had! We got the egg roll, chicken pad see ew, and shrimp panang curry. All delicious!

Great food! Really enjoyed the Lad Nar (chicken) and the Pad See Ew (chicken). We also had the Drunken Noodles (chicken) and it was very flavorful too. We’ll definitely be back!

Very good Thai Food. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The best one was the Tom Yam soup - this is just so delicious. We also tried the Veggie Spring rolls which was good and comes with the sweet sauce. The Drunken noodles is yummy and also the Gang Phak is excellent. Combine this with hot tea on the side and you meal is set.

This place surprised me. Great food. I had the laab and green chicken curry. Curry was ok but Laab was fantastic!

Delicious food!!! We had the pad thai and red curry and were absolutely perfect!

Khao Soi (yellow curry noodle soup) was great, and a good portion. I asked for Thai hot, and it was! Friendly guy working the entire place. I'll be back.

My first time to this place I was a little intimidated by the owner. He came off seeming really rough and mean, but as the meal continued he began to show me who he really was. At this restaurant you're gonna get great customer service with a very friendly owner. He'll remember you the next time you come around and will make your time there worthwhile.
But to add to that, the food here is also amazing! I love this restaurant and am looking to come here more often.

Good Food. Love Pad See Ew was the best dish I ever have in my life!!! Also garlic pork and Panang curry with steam rice. So good. Will always go there for Thai food. Thank you for the good food. I recommend this place if you looking for some delicious food!!!

This is hands down the Best Thai Food in All of Alaska!

Mark and his family at Nim's are great, over the past 10 years they have been amazing. They are like family, always kind and happy to catch up, and the service is always prompt and top notch. They really have mastered what they do, and there really is no comparison as far as Thai food goes, although Lemongrass I will admit is pretty good.

We now live in Anchorage, but always make sure to get a couple meals to bring back, It really is that delicious! If you are a local or just visiting, make sure to treat yourself to this little gem of a restaurant!

The food here is AMAZING. This was byfar my favorite food place while I stayed in Fairbanks. I think I visited at least once a week.

Brilliant, brilliant food. 2 very hard working ladies, who put everything into the food. The place is plain , but clean but the food fantastic. Please eat here, you won't be disappointed...

Well the food was good and I loved it. It's worth it when your hungry, especially the woon sen soup. It's delicious and has a whole ton of vegetables in it. Anyway the service was very nice has a good atmosphere.

This was serisously one of the BEST thai dishes I have ever had....and I came from Seattle where we have lots of great Thai food!! Very very impressed. Nice people working there as well. Made me feel welcomed and I can't wait to be back! Thank you :)

Excellent food! Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Coming from out of state, this place was a breath of fresh air. Really fresh food, quaint atmosphere, and true mom and pop shop. Love it!

Flavourful Thai food . Clean and tidy restaurant. I’ve ordered their ‘Pad Cashew’ from the dinner menu; It was delicious. Friendly owner.

Doesn't look like much on the outside but great food is to be had inside!
