They have a really great selection of women's winter boots, lots of brands and different styles. The employees in the shoe department were very helpful with informing me about sizing differences on some of the brands and were very kind as I tried on many pairs before I found the right ones. I got to test out my new boots that same day and I love them!

They also sell jelly beans by the pound which is pretty cool.

Wish I stopped here first for my search for gloves. Great selection and is well organized. VERY helpful staff on every floor. The shoes are on the lower floor, men in the first, and women and children on the top floor. They have a nice, free, rewards program, and you can shop the store online after you get home. Great seasonal sales.
Also, a cute wet floor sign that deserves to be included in the pictures 🍌😄

I tried EVERY outfitting store in Fairbanks before Prospector... they were the ONLY one with inventory to meet what I needed! Also better staffed and more professional staff--- my FIRST place to visit from now on. Love 'em

Friendly staff (even during a significant rush due to a seasonal sale). Excellent selection of apparel items, as well as a few miscellaneous bits of gear to aid your outdoor adventures. Selections span three crowded floors, giving plenty of options for sizes, budgets, and styles.

Outfitted the whole family with new winter gear, as necessary! One of the best places to get winter and outdoor apparel in town.

Local store with real things needed for Fairbanks. Prices are consistent with the quality items. Great selection if you don’t want cheap junk. Highly recommend

The sign says, "The finest outfitting store in Alaska". And I don't hear anybody debating that fact. Everything they sell is top-notch and high quality. If you need beer you're going to rely on this is the place to shop.

One of the very sparse winter gear outfitters located in town. Nice selection of really great quality brands like mammot, north face, kuhl, Patagonia and fjall raven! Also pretty large downstairs shoe and boot sections!

Went here to buy winter boots. Staff was helpful and not overbearing. Found out they have a 90 day return policy, even if I wear them outside. The price was on par with all online prices I saw.

As soon as I walked in, a young man by the name of Seth was helping me. He was professional and friendly and knew exactly where the earmuffs I was looking for were located.

The cashier line was kind of slow, but the cashiers were also very friendly.

I didn't see much of the store because I was just there for a specific item. However, from what I saw, they have everything you need for outdoor Alaska life.

Absolutely wonderful place! They have some scrubs for all you nurses and hospital personnel out there. Not a wide variety, but the few they have are high quality and look great.
They also have tons of jackets and good quality clothing great for outdoors.
There are knives, shoes, and fun stickers to put on your water bottles and laptops. I will certainly be back!

Went to buy some boots today. The one employee handling all of the shoe department was spread too thin. It would have been nice if a few of the extra employees standing by the front door upstairs would have come down to help. She did the best she could and was pleasant.

There are tons of great brands to choose from for keeping warm in the snow. Got a great winter coat here.

A pretty well stocked store with many options and selections. Complete with 3 floors of different selections. Good friendly staff.. they were nice and courteous. No issues to speak of. Good store and will have repeat business.
