Umass Memorial Medical Center Vas Sgy

I had the best experience with the Umass Vein Center. I have a phobia of needles, blood and veins so when they told me they were going to do this surgery while I was awake I almost fainted. The day of I was an absolute mess. At UMass they have a nurse practitioner in the vein surgical department. I believe here name is Donna D'Agostino. I know her first name is Donna! I tried looking her up. I honestly could not have gone through both on my surgeries without her. I was in a state of panic and crying. I was a mess. In my time of need this angel was so kind and empathetic to me. She stayed by my side and helped me calm down. She truly cared about my feelings and fears. Her communication and customer service and nursing skills are exceptional. I just cannot say enough about her. All of the nurses there were amazing and attentive. The surgeon Dr. Judelson was amazing. She is kind, considerate and fun! She has an impressive resume being the head of the vein center at such a young age! The entire team at the hospital and over at her Westboro office are just exceptional. I dont think I would have felt as comfortable with anyone else and so far so good with my procedures! My vericose veins already feel better! I would recommend the vascular department at Umass to everyone!

Had a very complex surgery last month to repair a large abdominal aneurysm- everything went great- doctors, nurses and staff were all excellent!

You have to pay for parking INSANE. HANDICAPPED PARKING ISN'T FREE. SOME good Doctors but they all seem to Leave for Boston Massachusetts hospitals. Boston Hospitals are 5 star. Pharmacy UMASS is TERRIBLE, RUDE SERVICES. TERRIBLE BUSINESS HOURS. DON'T EVERY HAVE SURGERY IN WORCESTER UMASS HOSPITALS. ST. VINCENT HOSPITAL FANCY LOOKING. TERRIBLE HOSPITALS. THESE HOSPITALS HAVE KILLED MANY PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

My brother had been in the emergency triage for 11 hours & a doctor hasn't seen him. He has Covid & the Flu at the same time. He can't breathe. He is laying on the floor & nobody seems to care. What is wrong with this hospitals? It's like they don't care about people. He is in pain & nobody is even getting him anything. Can somebody please help. This is so sad & frustrating.

This hospital is terrible. My friend got into very serious accident and arrived at the hospital at 11:30 it’s now 2:20 and we have not been seen. When asked how much longer we would have to wait. The receptionist gave us attitude and said there are other people in front of us and didn’t even say how much longer .
