Plum Point Park

It was nice, clean, parking situation a little weird. Never knew it was there and very interesting from views to walking over the interstate tunnel traffic, boats and water. I will be back with my daughter again soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed this park! The kayak dock lets out into a very calm area which is very accessible to nearby waters that are easily navigable. Walked the park afterward and was impressed with the attention to detail and the overall experience. Very glad I discovered this place!

I just visited here the other day as I was walking down part of the Elizabeth River Trail and found that this was a really good place to sit and relax. There are benches around where you can sit and watch ships go by. It's the perfect spot for a sunny day.

A Park on the water in the Norfolk Ghent area. It’s a bit tricky to find the entrance but once you do, it shares a parking lot with the local hospital, although there are reserved a spaces for the park.

Awesome access point into the Elizabeth River for kayaking. The parking lot only allows for six or eight free parking spots, though. I saw no convenient free spots anywhere nearby. Thoroughly enforced by City Police. But if you can get a parking space you'll be glad you came.

Really enjoy bringing the kids here. Great views of the shipyard. Has a play structure and walking maze. Benches to relax. It's right off the ERT. If you head down the trail just a little bit there is a pretty cool obstacle park as well. Fun for kids and adults!

Park is great still! New maps and signs up plus some poetry on the trails!!

This is a lovely park with lots of recent updates. A walking labyrinth, modern art playground and right around the corner there is an obstacle course that’s fun for everyone to play on. It’s right on the Elizabeth river trail with great views of the water and a kayak launch. The only downside is the parking can be difficult to navigate if you come by car.

Plum Point Park is easily accessible from the Elizabeth River Trail. There are great views of the river and you can always find some aquatic wildlife in the vicinity. During my last visit it seemed like there were some improvements being made to the sidewalks and some of the grounds.

An absolutely astounding park. The park is calm and not heavily trafficked, perfect for those with social anxiety and the like. The scenery of the nearby river provides for tranquility. This park is my favorite place to go when the stresses of life become overwhelming.

Beautiful little park, right off the Elizabeth River trail. Great view of military dock at Lambert's Point and West Norfolk container terminal. Some historic and environmental information signs, as well as old anchors.

I gave this location five stars because of the water and the beautiful scenery that surrounds it I came to see the kayak ramp but was unable to locate it there is a pier here that is also broken and has a do not enter sign the parking is very Rocky there are military and emergency men ships around as well as personnel this location is in the heart of downtown Norfolk if you are in the area come check it out there are such great pictures to take this location is ideal and off just about every major highway and tunnel

One of the best places in Norfolk to see the sunset

Beautiful views of what makes Norfolk amazing. Kinda windy but worth a visit on a nice day. Bring a blanket & a bottle of water (or something else ;))

Newly added assistive kayak or canoe launcher is part of what makes Norfolk great. The ongoing revitalization of the ERR, biking and running paths, and plenty of available parking between downtown and craft breweries over in Chelsea make for a great afternoon in this area.

This is a really nice place to go for a short stroll and admire some of our nation’s destroyers. The park itself is very quaint with benches scattered along the paved pathway.

It is a really cozy park. Clean and quiet. There are bushy shades provided if you don't want to be in the sun.

Nice place to walk or ride your bicycle. Very peaceful place
