Holiday Inn Express Richmond - Midtown, an IHG Hotel

Rooms are highly updated which was nice! Beds were super comfy and clean! Very updated, modern rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel in a good location near food and shops. I only stayed a night but definitely would stay again when in the area. Breakfast served every morning until 9am.

We liked staying here. They remodeled over the last couple of years. The rooms are nicely done, check the photos out. A nice lobby and dining area. The staff were great from the front desk, the cleaning crew, to those working the dining area. We like the location right off the main drag through town.

Things worked out, I had my doubts, but the room and the staff made everything perfect for my week long stay. I liked the breakfast bar which featured hot scrambled eggs and sausage, and carb options including pancakes and cereal. Would be nice if they could alternate some of the hot items, but, everything offered was good for what it was. They have a recreational area that includes a pool table. They also have conference rooms and a well equipped gym. I was told they had an outdoor pool, but it was not open in December. The room was perfectly fine. I liked the roll up window shades, and the linoleum floor, no carpet. All that extra window fabric only collects dust, without it the room seemed very spacious, and the clean smooth floor was easy to manuver and a lot more sanitary that a carpet. Clean bathroom, plenty of towels. The best part of my stay was the staff. All were friendly and accommodating, especially Omar, who went out of his way to explain to me in detail how to use my phone as a hot spot because my only issue was that I could not get my work computer onto the wifi. I had no problem getting my personal computer hooked up, thou. . The only thing I would change are the outlets and USB ports locations. There was no power outlet available at the desk, so I had to work from the bed. The outlet under the desk was blocked by the furniture and those could not be moved for access, oh well. More power outlets above the tables is needed, otherwise, it was fine. Close to sites, mall and shopping a few blocks away, plenty of free parking, starbucks half a mile down the road,

We have stayed here for a few years now. It is clean and modern, updated a while back. Nice location, reasonable price, and the staff are great. Check it out if you are looking for a place to stay in Richmond.

We have been staying at Holiday Inn Midtown on several occasions, and we are becoming more and more impressed with the warmth and kindness of people at the front desk. On this most recent stay, the woman at the front desk with pretty ink was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Very comfortable rooms, everything was good except for the cable was offline and I didn't get to see the game or my weekly shows. The room was spacious and nice. Breakfast will be served in the morning. Looking forward to it.

Had a one-night stay here and I was pleased with my stay. The room was modern, clean, and well-lit. The bathroom was surprisingly large.
Check in was easy and the front desk associate was friendly. They even had a fully stocked market.

Only negative I can see is that the location isn't the most exciting. You'll probably Uber or drive somewhere if you're going out. But that's a very small price to pay for a solid hotel like this one.

Absolutely no privacy due to drain system in the shower. You could hear every single word that was said in someone else's bathroom through the drain.

The Dove dispensers were a great idea, but the holder is so gross.

On a good note, the bed was super comfy, and the room was clean. The rooms have plenty of usb ports to charge your devices.

Nothing much to say, but love the hotel room and the stuff members. Clean rooms, respectful staff members and safe locations.

The hotel lobby is large enough to accommodate 200 people easily it's modern clean decorated to you do many things read a book, watch TV use your laptop...or just unwind after a long travel

Rooms were quiet, comfortable and had all the amenities that I expect in a hotel. Continental breakfast was great and the location was quiet and near some nice places and restaurants.

Great service! Great, comfortable & clean rooms. The presentation of this hotel could definitely be accentuated by a better location. It sits in the middle of what looks like a shopping center parking lot. But the hotel itself and staff is very good.

Aerie is absolutely amazing. Very warm and welcoming! She made my stay extra special 💗 Otis as well was sweet, helpful and answered all my questions! I want to thank both of them. Hotel is beautiful and rooms are clean & spacious. Breakfast was delicious! I will be coming back!

Great place to stay a night. Breakfast was nice, bed was super comfy. Parking is easy and lots of it outback. Easy in and out. Great staff. Only flaw... extremely low water pressure for the shower. Everything else A+

Nicely equipped hotel with all the things you'd expect plus a solid breakfast spread and a gaming area (pool table, shuffle board, cornhole and a pinball game). The fitness center was the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel. Close to everything. Front desk guy was minimal and didn't explain any of amenities, my room location or breakfast times. But I won't take off a star for his slack.

What an amazing place. Not your ordinary hotel. The lobby is amazing. They are very inventive with the TVs. They also have a free pool table, shuffleboard, and a pinball machine. They also have free cookies and lemonade. The new rooms are well thought out. They have outlets and USB ports all over. The bathroom has a very smart but simple nightlight. Lovely place that I will definitely stay at again.

We stayed here because the Ronald McDonald house was full. I was leery because of the reviews however, it was a great stay! Staff was phenomenal. Both elevators worked and both back and front lobby doors were always open. The game room was great entertainment for my son. Not a $200 a night hotel but definitely a $100-$150 night. Room and bathroom was clean. Musty smell when we first arrive but went away when we turned the air on.

Coffee is great. Very relaxing environment especially in the evening.

I always stay here when I come to Richmond. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, and perfect location.
