Lidl

I held off going into a Lidl for years now, and this was my first trip inside one. I have to say, this is the weirdest grocery store I've ever been in, but I don't mean that in a bad way. It's like an Aldi and a Kroger had a larger, more German lovechild and got a little carried away with the bric-a-brac. The produce all looked good, I bought a couple house-brand generic goods and they were great quality, and the prices were comparatively low. The cheese pizza bread was also nice.

Like their erstwhile sibling, Aldi, Lidl offers a smaller selection of goods and groceries than their typical American market competitors... but at a price point savings that makes it worth the trip to the store for those items (but not all... dental floss, for some reason, is absurdly overpriced at Lidl) that they do purvey. And like Aldi, Lidl offers a revolving and seasonal selection of products from its native land, Germany, that are quirky, enticing, and usually quite good at a reasonable if not remarkable price. The shopping space at Lidl seems to have wider aisles and a cooler, bluer light than at Aldi, which seems warmer and more compact... the result being that (and this may just be in my head) the shopping experience at Lidl seems more relaxed and languid than the more "caffeinated" feel of an Aldi shopping excursion. Lidl seems more expensive to me than Aldi, as if you are paying a gentle premium for a gentler "feel" while gathering your groceries.
Both stores are always clean and well-lit, the shelves are always well-stocked, and the staff is always friendly, patient, professional, courteous, good-natured and quick to lend a hand. (A not insignificant opinion: I think Lidl has the better selection of beer and wine, but that Aldi has a better choice in the baking aisle.) Recommended. [*Update: An impression- Lidl's "garden section" seems to me to have more choices than Aldi's.]

Always a good and relaxing experience with Lidl. Not crowded and easy to find stuff. Bakery items are fresh. Excellent pasta and sauces. I also like their coffee pods and prices

Love this Lidl! The prices can't be bested, the selection is good, and the weekly deal aisles always have something fun. The staff are very friendly and the store is always clean and organized.

Always checkout their merchandise sales. You will find the most unique items there.

I needed a price override, and a friendly lady excused herself to get a motorized shopping cart for a disabled man at the entrance. She recognized him as a regular shopper and met him at the door. I noticed him struggle to walk as I entered the market earlier. That level of customer service during my first visit to this location, instantly makes this my favorite location.

Someone stated down below there aren’t any bike racks but there is one next to the cart corral- been there since the store opened

I love shopping at Lidl. They have great produce, friendly staff, and the store is always clean and organized. Every time I visit, I can't resist the freshly baked pastries.

Check out lines are always long. You can get a hot baked baguette loaf bread after 3:00 pm. Store is always clean.

I come here every week to grocery shop. They always have the basics I need and the prices are unbeatable! The store is easy to shop and when I go during the day it’s never too crowded and the lines aren’t very long. I always have the same cashier checking me out and he is fantastic. Always smiling and friendly, he convinced me to get the myLidl app and I saved 10 dollars on my trip today! This store is a great place to grocery shop.

I probably go here every week. Everything is an amazing price for the quality. It's never busy here, so I don't have to worry about not being able to social distance. Sometimes the lines get a little long when the self-checkout is closed and I wish there were more options for fresh produce, but I can't really complain when I like everything else so much. Also, I can't recommend buying the mint fudge cookies in the baking/cookie/cracker aisle enough. Tastes identical to Girl Scout Thin Mints!

It's clean and well organized with high ceilings and large windows. There's plenty of variety so there are dietary options for everyone. The staff is helpful and friendly. You should bring your own bag, but they sell paper bags for $0.07 each (as of this review) or they'll let you have boxes (like Costco or Aldi). They have a good sized wine and beer section, and they even have novelties like liquor filled chocolates. I highly recommend this grocery store.

First time in. Was just going to look. Instead I walked out with $60 of their product. Store is clean, well laid out and prices were great. The flowers, bouquets, mini Rose's were too good to pass up. Plus my girl was happy! Thanks Lidl, great job.

An interesting Middle American / Urban counterpart to Trader Joe's. The room itself is about the same size as a large TJ - but a much less cramped feel. Note Lidl is rumored to be a TJ subsidiary.

One of my less pleasant feelings of TJs is the room is always cramped- even with a light crowd with only a dozen customers - and average TJs crowd would be 3 or 4 times that size.

The prices are quite a bit lower too. Again, middle / urban budget compatible.

The grocery / fresh veggies sections are a bit limited compared to TJs, let alone Kroger - but prices are better than either.

And always fun browsing the non food section. Clothing, household items bargains galore. But like dollar stores, quantities are limited. If you see it today, buy it today.

And I enjoy the hour walk (with occasional Pokemon catch). 😀

If you like shopping but hate navigating through busy grocery stores then you need to experience Lidl. I love this place! Very clean, simple and easy to navigate around. The store has a nice flow and the best part are the prices! While I can't get everything that I need from here (like some specific items) there is a lot of good stuff and then some. All of the cheeses that I have had are spot on. They don't provide bags and encourage the use of reusable bags (or you can buy a paper bag for cheap). I love that they carry my favorite brand of oat milk and other vegan options!

Lidl has taken over as my #1 grocery store. Love the atmosphere and shopping experience. Great prices on organics and their weekly deals have me shopping with them multiple times a week. Not to mention that they have fresh baked goods, random household sale items, and a great staff. I would recommend them to anyone looking to increase their shopping experience and the quality of take home food for themselves or their family.
