Got our daughter some On Clouds to begin her nursing job and she's raved about them...and she has 12-hour shifts so that says a lot. The staff at Willow Lawn was great. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. Highly recommend if you need shoes, good shoes, for running or being on your feet a lot.

My husband just took our son to the Carytown RVA location; our son has just started his first season on the track team at his school. The runner who helped our son spent an HOUR helping him find the perfect pair. No pressure, just wanted him to get the right shoe. These people are passionate about running and super helpful. We will be back!

One of my favorite local businesses in Richmond and a genuine gem of a store. I have gotten running shoes 3x here and every time the experience is smooth and pleasant! Customer service is top-notch and they are genuinely invested in getting you into the right shoe. Today I worked with Caleb and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient. I left wearing the most comfortable shoes I have had in a long time. Customer for life! Glad we have great stores like this to support the running community in Richmond.

As soon as I walked through the door, Caleb welcomed me. He immediately started asking questions, trying to figure out what I needed. My feet are very flat, and I deal with a lot of shooting pain. Caleb took the time to go through shoes with me, and even different brands and styles, and from what I observed was very patient, and just kind.

Went in looking for new running shoes. I was helped by Mark who is extremely knowledgeable with running and shoe fit. Overall great experience!

The BEST customer service I've received in a LONG time!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was referred to this location by a co-worker so I stayed in the area after work until the store opened. Désirée and her son helped me. I was EXHAUSTED after working a 12 hour shift but they were so kind and efficient. Poor guy probably thought that I would never find a shoe but he helped me narrow my choices down. They didn't have the color I desired but were able to put a pair on hold for me at their location in Cary Town! Levi and Caleb were so kind at their Cary Town location. THEEE MOST efficient shopping experience AND I have the BEST shoe for my feet as I was desperately needing relief!!! I greatly dislike running but I CAN'T WAIT TO GO RUNNING!!! Did I just say that?! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!

The Hull St location has always been great and today we learned that the Willow Lawn location is equally as wonderful. So much thanks to Alexis for helping my human find walking shoes. From another Alexis 🙂

Alexis was the absolute best! I recently began running and knew I needed better shoes but no idea where to begin looking. She was not even clocked in yet but jumped in to help and guided me through the process with the best sense of humor and helpful advice. Will definitely be returning! :-)

I just discovered Lucky Road today. It is the best running store I have found, and at 80, I am experienced with running stores. The saleswoman was cheerful and extremely knowledgeable. In short order, she had just the right shoe on me, and I was off to the gym! ( with some new sunglasses too!)

100% recommend! I went in today almost crying in pain and unable to run for over a two weeks and walked out without limping! Everyone was so helpful and kind and understanding and personable. I will never shop anywhere else for running and everyday shoes ever again! Thank you so much!

We visited Lucky Road in Willow Lawn yesterday to purchase my daughter's first track shoes. My daughter is very shy, particularly when asked about things she isn't familiar with. Everyone in the store was so helpful and nice. Jeff was able to get through to her and made her feel comfortable. The staff was able to find her the perfect pair of shoes. Thanks so much! We live about an hour away, but we won't hesitate to make the trip for our running needs.

I came here based on a recommendation from a friend. I’m getting back into marching drum and bugle corps and needed a good pair of shoes for practice. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, and quickly determined I needed a 10 wide, not 10.5 like I typically wear. They were very busy, but I was still able to get in and out in about 30 minutes with a new pair of Brooks Glycerin. Top notch shop, and it’s great to be supporting a local business.

I have never had anyone in customer service provide an experience close to Alexis at the Running Store. Not only did she provide an educational experience about the products we asked about but she also had an amazing personality and yes, her jokes are funny as h***. I can tell you our experience with her was perfect not only the first time, but the second and the third as well. She has definitely made the Christmas and birthday list. This is one hell of a store and she is one hell of an ambassador. I never thought buying shoes could be a highlight of the day, but she has that affect on things. Thank you Alexis…We’ll be back.

I’ve been to Lucky Road twice now and I was impressed by the selection and friendliness of the staff on both visits. They have everything you need as a runner- shoes, gels, garmin, accessories, etc. Most importantly, the customer service is honestly top notch. Travis helped me both times. He is very knowledgeable and patient. I like both fashion and function in my running shoes and he listened to my wants/needs and took his time to assist me in getting the perfect pair. The other staff when I have gone have also been very welcoming. Great selection and great people. Really can’t go wrong!

Levi was super helpful in observing the way I run and giving me options for shoes I could be confident with. Looking forward to my first proper run with the shoes we picked out!

I was headed somewhere else and happen to see this run shop and instantly had to go in! I was greeted immediately upon entering and asked if I needed help. When I did need help the staff answered all of my questions. Overall good vibe and a nice running store if you are looking for running stuff.

The owners and staff at Lucky Road are truly the best in the business. They take the time to listen to customer needs and troubleshoot any issues or discomfort, making the shopping experience both informative and enjoyable. For instance, the bottoms of my feet used to tingle after 10 minutes of vigorous activity. Turns out, I had been wearing shoes an entire size too small! (An error originating at a running store in Denver).

In addition to phenomenal customer service, Lucky Road carries popular brands such as Saucony and ASICS, as well as up-and-coming ones like 361 Degrees. They also organize a local running group, clinics, and race training. Do yourself a favor and take your business to Lucky Road. You’ll be blown away!

First time visiting this shop, and it was great! Sharon was a new employee there and was super friendly in helping me find what I was looking for. Their selection was very good as well, and their prices reasonable! I look forward to making this my regular running shop!

Can't say enough great things about this store and its employees! Mark is incredibly helpful and a great guy! As a marathoner, ultramarathoner, and 140.6 Ironman finisher, Mark has a wealth of knowledge that he passes on to his customers. He also takes the time to get to know each customer and makes sure they get the exact product they need to accomplish their running goals. This shop has great people, great products, and the best local run shop in Richmond! As a runner and triathlete myself, I will not go to any run shop other than Lucky Road! Best local run shop in Richmond by far!
