Easy to find and plenty of parking. Gwen is approachable, talented and sensitive to individual needs. Every massage I've received from her feels like it builds upon the previous one. 11/10 recommend!

Camille is the best! I’ve been a client of hers for 10+ years, along with many of my family members and friends. I can’t recommend her enough!

Sacred Waters is just that, it’s a sacred place that fills you with the waters of renewal. I love getting a massage at a place I know Is locally owned and a dedicated member of our community. I always have a great experience here. Bronwyn and Camille are such special people and I am grateful to be able to go to somewhere that feels like such a blessing from the moment you walk in the door. Highly recommend.

I’ve had this painful knot in my right shoulder for a month. My husband got me an appointment last minute with Camille since it was my birthday and I was in a bit of discomfort with my shoulder. Camille actively listened to my issues and an hour later, I was relaxed, happy, stress free and the knot was gone! No painful digging and best of all, she uses essential oils which made the experience that much better! Smells of lavender and calming music in the background. I left feeling so happy, bought some gifts for people in her little shop, and booked another appointment on the spot. Love it here!

I have been a long time customer of Sacred Waters. Camille is by far the best massage therapist I have ever been to and I have been to a lot. She along with all the staff at Sacred Waters, makes you feel comfortable and at home. Camille works hard to make you sure you have a good massage and is thoughtful about it. The boutique has things you won't find anywhere else and it's quite frankly magical. Thank you Sacred Waters! I can't wait for my next appointment.

Sacred Waters Holistic spa provided a relaxing and personalized experience for me that I enjoyed thoroughly. My masseuse, Bronwyn Cotten, was incredibly kind with me and made sure to discuss each step, my comfort level, and my target problems. She was also quite personable and respectful of my boundaries during the process.
The massage itself was an experience like no other. I don’t think i’ve ever been so relaxed. She managed to really work at all of my tense spots and talk me through ways to care for them at home. Afterwards I felt like a whole new person and I can continue to carry the experience with me everyday. I’m itching to go back! 10/10 for sure!

Had my first professional massage here yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Scheduled a 75 minute massage with Gwen and she was able to get nearly every knot and bit of tightness out of my back, shoulders, and neck. Ended up having the best sleep I’ve had in months last night. Definitely will be coming back!

I have been going to Sacred Waters for two and a half years. From my very first visit to my most recent visit, this past Tuesday (5/14) have been incredible. Camille is an incredible massage therapist. She has the incredible gift of healing. The people and the space at Sacred Waters are inviting, welcoming, and holistic. You could not ask for a warmer, cleaner or more welcoming space. The services they offer are definitely with the client in mind. From therapeutic massage to fire cupping I have always walked away feeling rejuvenated and my body, soul, and spirit feeling better. The people are what make this place so phenomenal.
Don't forget the boutique; the place has fantastic finds for thoughtful gifts or self-pampering. There is always something that will catch your eye.

Absolutely LOVED my experience at Sacred Waters! We were in town visiting for the weekend and decided to get massages. Daniel was wonderful- absolutely wonderful. So present, so in the moment. And he has this really awesome way of starting a new body part when he moves along- I just loved it! We traveled about 90mi from Alexandria for a weekend getaway- but now we both want to go back- because Daniel was that amazing! We realized that its actualy not too far- especially for something that fantastic- but truly worth it! Daniel- thank you!

I’ve been to Sacred Waters twice now and seen Bronwyn on both occasions. My most recent experience was for a prenatal massage and I’m so glad I treated myself to that. Bronwyn found and worked on places of tension in my back that I didn’t even realize were tense. She is very professional and made me feel completely safe and comfortable, even at 37 weeks pregnant! I will definitely return to Sacred Waters!

My hair stylist said clients spoke highly of Camille at Sacred Waters. I made an appointment in April and agree with them totally. I’ve been to many massage therapists over the years and Camille is one of the very best - not a lot of chatter, a wonderful space, just enough scents, excellent technique, attention to details. She uses heat (including hot stones), and cupping (which I tried today). I can’t recommend her too highly.

Every experience I’ve had at Sacred Waters — particularly with Gwen — has deeply enhanced my wellbeing. The space is tucked upstairs in a calm, clean and serene space above Carytown, away from the volume of the street below. It invites a deep breath each time you enter and this is only further enhanced by the bodywork. My experiences with Gwen have helped heal many of the ailments I’ve walked in with; she takes her time, fluently reads what the body needs and is incredibly intuitive & thoughtful. I highly recommend coming here for your healing needs - your body will thank you!

I have been going to Camille at Sacred Waters for years. I love the space and how calming it is there. Bronwyn was gracious to fit me into her schedule this time. I can now attest that there are two wonderful massage therapists at Sacred Waters!

I had a full body massage with Gwen yesterday and she worked on exactly the right places, leaving me feeling so much better! The space is very welcoming; it feels like walking into someone’s home rather than walking into a business. Looking forward to going back!

I love going to Sacred Waters. They have been very professional throughout COVID and use texting to keep clients informed. When I walk into the spa I am immediately put to ease. I highly recommend them and will keep coming back.

Such a beautiful and relaxing space! Easy to locate and ample parking.

I scheduled a thirty minute massage with Michael "just to see" if this place was any good, and I immediately scheduled my next (sixty minute) massage immediately after. Sacred Waters is a sweet solstice right in the middle of Carytown with convenient parking in the back, a relaxed yet professional vibe, and excellent massage therapists. In 2011, I had a spinal surgery that makes me a difficult patient to work on and a very picky person on the receiving end, yet I could not recommend Sacred Waters any more highly! Plus it is competitively priced for the excellent treatment :)

It's been a while since I've had a massage. Sacred Waters was recommended to me by a friend.
My massage was with Miranda. Massage was fantastic.
I've had a lot of massages over the years, and it's hard to find someone who's massages aren't too soft, and you barely know you had one, or too hard and it's almost painful. But the massage with Miranda just just enough pressure to relieve my knots, but not to where it was uncomfortable.
It was like Goldilocks...the massage was just right. :-)
I had one spot, my infraspinatus muscle, that was especially tight/knotted up. She recommended something I could do at home to help with that knot, I appreciated that.
I'll definitely be going back.

Richmond women own and operate Sacred Waters. You walk in and are welcomed with amazing aromas from their collections of essential oils, handmade bath soaps, bath salts, and lots of other spa like items mostly from local artisans! They also have jewelry and other boutique items...including for pets. Great place to find gifts for people who have everything and they package them so cute with ribbon and gift tags if you tell them its a gift!
About the spa- I get massages here on a regular basis and have had hot stones, cold stones, fire cupping, regular cupping, essential oils incorporated, and I always leave feeling like a better version of myself. They customize every session according to what I need that day. They have some very talented massage therapist- I just wished they brought back Thai Massage!

I've been seeing Camille since before she opened Sacred Waters. This is the only place I will go for a massage. She has a wealth of knowledge in essential oils and other aspects of therapy that add to the experience. Highly recommend!!
