Friendly's

I haven't visited Friendly's in two decades. While on a business trip in Florida, I spotted the restaurant and decided to drop by. Delightfully, the turkey super melt was still on the menu, and everything tasted so good, reminiscent of my childhood. The atmosphere, resembling a 60s diner, is a rare find these days. They even had the small gummy bears that I would get on my ice cream.

Haven't been to a Friendly's in years. Was at my girlfriend's cousin's house and he was showing my a candle that was made to look like a Jim Dandee sundae. Instantly said "I haven't had one of those in years!". Needless to say there was a Friendly's right down the street in Melbourne. Oh... Had to go relive the childhood dream of a Jim Dandee Reese's Pieces sundae. It was amazing!!! Just like I remembered it. Ate the whole sundae in one sitting. My stomach is hurting and I think I heard a cavity let out a cheer... but it was worth it! Giving them 5 stars for making the inner child in me smile 😁😁😁

Food was excellent, and the price was Really good as well. I had a pastrami melt and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. The sandwich had coleslaw on it, which I'm not used to, but it was delicious. Really cool place for Ice cream, and they even had vintage photos of what Friendly's used to be. It was a very positive experience for us 😃

This friendlies was very good. Our server was prompt and courteous. The place was decorated nice and was clean. Had the traditional fribble, which tasted just like it did 20 years ago. Also have the hamburger which was nice and juicy. Had a very nice lunch experience here.

Great diner style food and with an amazing ice cream menu. You have to get the munchie mania, one of the super melts, and a happy ending Sunday. Reminds me of my childhood and the food tastes the same. One of the last Friendly’s location in Florida I hope it stays open!

Love coming here for breakfast....food is served nice n hot. Ice coffee is delicious....n you certainly can't beat the price...I drive quite a distance to dine here, but don't mind at all. Its also a nice quiet restaurant....which I find relaxing while I read my paper. Thank you friendly's..

I’ve been coming to this Friendly’s since I was a kid and nothing beats the service here. The staff is incredibly kind and always goes above & beyond. The food is always great and the ice cream is even better. Very family friendly and a great place for a good comfort meal and some smiles!

Overall the food was delicious and the service. There was only 1 server and she was super busy running around making sure everyone gets and has what they need. Definitely needs more servers, despite how busy she was she was till attentive to us and made sure we were taken care of.

Welcome to the great diner that time forgot! It's not open past 10 so it's not a place to go after drinking all night. It's is a very laid back and chill place. If you went to any friendly as a kid and then came here, nothing has changed... Not even the music from the 50s. I think I heard Pretty Woman at one point. The service was excellent here. We tipped this guy a lot because he deserved it. They are super personal and very "friendly". The appetizers are meals pretty much and priced to be just that. The ice cream is amazing. Grab a Reese Peanut Butter Cup Sundae. If you want a laid back throw back with great service and decent food, check out this place.

First time on Friendly. So good!! .Friendly staff. Quick services. Delicious food. Love the clam chowder and New England fish and chips. I will be back for the ice cream

Absolutely love Friendly's. Their ice cream is absolutely delicious, especially the forbidden chocolate. We drive 30 minutes to get there just because of how good it is. Their muchie mania is great because you get to choose the appetizers you want and you can ever consider it a meal since it comes with so much food. I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly, just as he name implies!

Ordered online and it said 10 minutes. Exactly 10 minutes later they were handing me my food. The women running the restaurant were so sweet and addressed me as soon as I walked in. They gave me ketchup and utensils. Not from around here but would definitely return for the atmosphere.

I loved seeing the original Friendly's themed decor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The ice cream sundaes 🍨 were delicious and prepared with care. I'll be back on my next visit to Melbourne Beach.

Yum! It's been a long time since I've had Friendly's and this trip was so worth it!

Unexpectedly delicious Cobb salad with crispy bacon. The special included a Happy Ending. Really!
It is an ice cream sundae and we upgraded to 2 scoops.

Nice family place, nothing fancy. Not too pricey when you factor in dessert. Kids liked all the dessert options, particularly the specialties.

One of my favorite restaurants. Ice cream is amazing. So many different menu items to choose from. It's a little pricey but it's worth it.

I love this place! Haven't gone to one in forever! They got rid of the ones in Ohio. If you go there, I recommend the Cotton Candy Drink, no matter how old you are.

I did a to-go order of their signature Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and it was awesome! The fries were just okay, could have been a little more fresh. But the sandwich tasted awesome. Service was great and waited about 10min to pick up order. I didn’t try the ice cream so I can’t review on that. It looked amazing though! A place you definitely need to swing on by!
