Far From Normal

My hometown fun store! Little toys for stocking stuffers, coloring books, interesting cards/postcards, great funky sunglasses (I rock the cat shape with giant eyelashes) and fun masks and other playtime items. The "clerk" is generally the owner. I've never seen anyone but her there. She is always helpful and very nice. I'm astonished by the reviews here that obviously take offense to the stickers in the window. To that I say, look- you're on the wrong side of the Cascades. If a business owner wants to proclaim her views, we will wholeheartedly support her. Please feel free to move along if you don't agree. It's a STORE. You can buy what you see, or not- get it? And frankly, the reviews mentioning children not allowed...come on. You're just making up stuff.

Okay, the bad reviews are hilarious. I've been going here for years and there is something for literally anyone. Judging a store by a shopfront and making rash generalizations based on bumper sticker window displays is simply childish. I love this place and have never had a bad experience. Apparently this is just because I'm a "mega liberal" and "radical feminist". My right-leaning parents both enjoyed themselves as well. Please have a sense of humor before entering.

Fun place to shop

You hearing crazy voices? Walk out of this store. Their name fits them well: Far From Normal. Their workers sure are far from normal. They were weird and it seemed as if they were on something.

This store is offensive. I'm all for political views and expressing yourself but this store is obviously owned by raging liberals without balance. Angry anti-conservative stickers are plastered all over the front including ( ironically) a no haters sticker (typical of more extreme Democrats) they protest and yell foul language at people with different opinions while calling them haters lol. Anyway, this store is also not good for children, had to rush my daughter out after seeing some very offensive things inside. I can only hope that by eliminating a large portion of the population (conservatives) they will either go out of business or at least find some balance and clean up the store. Until then, I will cross the street.

I've been by there twice during the hours they were supposed to be open and there's a sign on the door that requires you to call them to come open it up. After taking a closer look through the window, i noticed some extremely offensive items in there so i took my grandson and left. This store is obviously a very left winged, liberal, anti-Trump, anti-conservative store who will not be getting my business at all.
You may want to rethink your business model and not alienate have of your customer base.

The employee was very rude to my daughter on Friday afternoon. My little girl was trying on a horse mask and the woman told her to take it off. My daughter politely said she wanted to show it to me. The employee said to my daughter “what did I just say to do” very rude.

We were very disappointed that the store employee yelled at our children, who walked into the store while we parked our car, telling them that children were not permitted on the premises. The kids felt very badly about it, since they hadn’t misbehaved or done anything wrong. We opted to not go in and give them our business.
