Great place!!!! I really enjoyed the meatball sandwich on garlic cheese bread. Staff was nice and helpful.

I was told to try a "half and half" sandwich; half Gerber and half Prosperity and I'm glad I did. The sandwich was delicious.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat! Before Subway and the other chains; Ruma’s Deli was one of the first to have the giant sub sandwich. I always get their French bread pizza and toasted ravioli. Truly an iconic St. Louis restaurant.

Rumas food and service is always great! Staff is excellent and friendly. Highly recommend them! Support local!!

The Gerber might be the more popular sandwich here, but the Prosperity (roast beef, gravy, provel on garlic butter open faced italian bread) warms up my belly after a cold day of work. Worth the trip!

Got the baked mostaccioli with meat balls. And a gerber pizza. 1st time getting the gerber pizza. I gotta say it was darn good. This food brings me back to my childhood and fills my belly and my heart. Service was quick and the counter guy was very nice.

Used to go to Ruma's Deli at West County Mall in the 1980s as a 10 year old kid. The Prosperity sandwich is even better than I remembered! Loved watching my 12 years old play the 1980s style video game Ms Pacman and Galaga. Still 0.25¢!

Love rumas! Have been going here for years. They have the best sandwiches, pasta, and salads! My favorite are the Gerber and Prosperity. The workers are always very friendly and give great customer service. If I could give 100 stars I would!!

I get the prosperity hold the garlic butter it’s $1.75 cheaper than ordering the roast beef and cheese with gravy . Get a side of gravy it’s amazing like grandma used to make ! So good best roast beef and gravy I have ever had !

Always one of my favorite places to go when I have friends from outside of St. Louis. The Prosperity sandwich is honestly one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've ever had. The price is a little higher than your standard shop, but the quality for your dollar is top notch.

The staff is great and friendly. Last word though is to ask for extra pickles for the sandwich, because you can't have too many on it!

I was born and raised in Chicago and I went in and ordered their Chicago sandwich, and I gotta say I felt like I was back home again! The sandwich was SO incredible I crave it almost every night! I've gotta say it definitely gives my Chicago's Italian beef a run for it's money! The guys working in their are awesome too!! Highly recommend!!!

I've been eating at Ruma's Deli in South County for over 30 years. It's a small family owned deli so the owner knows you by name. We love their Gerbers and they have the best baked mostaccioli!

I don't know HOW this place is getting any bad reviews! EASILY one of our family favorite restaurants! Brock Ruma knows me and my family by name and is a GREAT guy. They do have some strange stipulations with coupons and such, but it's all in the fine print.... read! As far as the food, it is simply fantastic! I regularly crave this food and go there as often as the wife will let us. I have taken several friends there, and gotten them all hooked as well.

-No, I do not, nor have I ever worked with/for Ruma's Deli, just a life long fan from when they were located in South City on Hampton Ave and will continue to give them my business as long as Brock keeps running things the way they have been run since I was a little boy.

We had extenuating circumstances to where we were unable to give a 24 hour notice and needed some things off the catering menu, the manager (don't know if he was the store manager or manager on duty) let us order said items anyway after we explained what was going on. He and another employee even carried the heavier of the food out to the car for us. Very helpful staff and I have and will continue to recommend Ruma's Deli to anyone!

I've been a customer of Ruma's in South County since it opened, probably more than 40 years. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have ordered, be it salad, sandwich;, etc. I raised 3 kids by myself and money was tight. I never felt scammed because of inferior food or prices. Love Ruma's!

Great food. Fats service. Location is easy to get to. Our family has lived this place for many years. Save yourself some money and pay with cash. The prosperity is our favorite sandwich. I think we have tried everything on the menu and we have never been disappointed 😀

Delicious Gerber/prosperity when you can't make up your mind and want them both, they accommodate!!!!! Kiddo really enjoyed her pizza, she may have sreeched a little in excitement when we pulled in.

The staff here is always, so friendly! Third generation family owned. Do not come here if you are looking to have a healthy meal, but a flavorful meal. I found them because of the OPER app where I order or pay straight from my phone and get 5% in rewards at not only Ruma's but at around 200 restaurants in the area!
