Great selection of unique produce from various countries. Mostly, if you are looking for international items that will not be in other supermarkets in the area. The prices are reasonable since some of these goods are being exported and that drives up cost. Overall great place to shop!!!

Very clean super market . Has much Hispanic food to offer and shop for . I also notice they set up an area where you can purchase lunch . We did end up getting white rice and some pernil ( pork ) either plantains . Yummy .

I called on Thanksgiving to find out if they had peanut oil so that I can deep fry a turkey and they were just about the only store open on Thanksgiving and came through for me on this and I'm very appreciative of this.

Got lucky this weekend.
Went in looking for a particular brand of Hot Dogs. Found Hamburger Meat on sale for $2.99lb.
So we stocked up.
Grabbed six packs, which was 2lbs each. In my house my kids love Hamburger Helper, Tacos, and of Course Burgers.
So it will definitely not be wasted. lol

Great store. The employees are super helpful and sweet.

The produce is great and the meat is kept fresh and is well organized multiple times throughout the day. Very friendly cashiers who make sure to help you will anything that you need. Check out the bakery on Saturday mornings because there are freshly baked donuts and bread! The workers are very hard working and family orientated.

EDIT(3/8/18): Just wanted to come back and update my review because I think they deserve it. Customer service was excellent after this point and went above and beyond to resolve my issue. They explained the situation to me and were very understanding of mine. Was promptly contacted back by the manager and they made it right and honored the original agreement. They will be my go to from now on for bulk chicken and other meats that I may need when the occasion arises. Alex, thank you very much for your kindness and willing to make amends on this.

Compare Foods, a great modern-day grocery store with that old school type of feel. With staff and management that are always smiling and always helpful. The produce is on point with some Latin American fruits and vegetables that are always fresh. I would recommend anyone and everyone to shop at Compare Foods.

I love this store! I can get everything I need in one place. Forget Wall-Mart! My family and I eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have the best produce around. Their meat prices can't be beat. If you are on a budget, and want to make ends meet, stop wasting money and shop here.

I shop here about 3 times a week. The staff and management are super nice.
The price are their chicken quarters is great and the fruit and vegetables are fresh. I am a forever customer.

I like to buy a lot of vegetables and appreciate cheap and fresh produce that Compare Foods offers in Monroe. The produce variety is great and I love their deals. I bought a huge bag of green peppers for just $3, a full bag of green beans for just 3 dollars (I think it was on sail for 80c/p). Today they sold tomatillos for 59 c/p. I went home with a FULL shopping cart and payed just $60. I have to admit, I bought just veggies and meat, but my cart was full of healthy food.
Also, I have to mention the staff. They are really, really friendly folks and are always willing to help. Today I was looking at tomatillos. I had no idea what they are and I had no idea what to do with them. The produce staff saw me looking at it and ask me straight away if they can help. He told me how they can be prepared and I ended up buying a whole bag of these green tomatoes. It was just $2 and they taste fantastic!
It is also okay to buy dairy and meats there. I LOVE their blood sausage. I think it is prepared in the butchery there.
However, I don't like their breads. I think they offer only white bread. The dally is also very poor. But the produce really makes up for it!
If you are looking for great and cheep produce, this is a place to go in Charlotte / Monroe.

Great place for an interesting variety of fresh, reasonably priced produce! Cheeses sold from the deli case are good, as well as the fresh bakery desserts. Love this place!

My goto place for anything fresh! Great sales on fresh produce, especially Mexican vegetables. I get my salsa fixins here every week!
