Although it’s been 7 years since I witnessed two Sevier County officers who had responded to a Dollar Store in Sevier County Tennessee after someone stole a few items from the store I have never forgotten the professionalism and the service they provided to the manager by taking the time to take fingerprints at the scene. I was really impressed at the time and I happened to think about that situation today. I should have written a review long ago however it’s never too late to let someone know how much you appreciate their service, immediate response and the professionalism of law enforcement that takes time to ensure that they conduct a proper investigation on behalf of a victim of crime.

Had a run in today with 2 deputies on hatcher mountain. I’ll save the details it’s a long story but they definitely did a great job and handled the situation well. I had a lapse of judgement and went into a friends house (he was out of town) after adt called them out to see what was going on after the door was broke and I like an idiot went in while they where in there clearing the house. Definitely not smart on my behalf as I could have been hurt. They both kept there weapons down at the ground and told me to get out. Just thankful they where two very good officers or I could have been injured by a lapse of judgment on my part.

My wife and I want to thank the Sevier County Sheriff Department for helping us on December 24, 2020. We were stuck in the snow in Elk Springs Resort in Gatlinburg, and the officer they sent to help us was outstanding in every way. He could not have been better. He offered to carry us to our cabin, help us transport our luggage, and so on. I regret that I did not get the officer's name, but want to thank the entire department for their service!

Best Sheriff Department around! Officer Adams and Officer Verez helped me recover my stolen iPhone, wallet and keys. They could not have been more helpful and kind! They went above and beyond and did everything they could to help my situation. I could not be more thankful for these two gentlemen. Thank you so much for your hard work and genuine kindness! BEST OF THE BEST!

I’ve known Sheriff Ron Seals for 30 years. His contributions to the Community and our Country, is amazing. He’s opened the Annex’s for the inmates to have Church services 7 days a week, with faith in reforming the inmates sharing the word of God! Many local Churches, and other Ministries called to serve in this program, have been a great success in changing the lives of men and women who have participated in this program. Very few Sheriff Departments offer this for their inmates, and having been a part of this program for 10 years and counting, has been a blessing to me. Hundreds have come to know Christ as their Savior! With the growing population of Crime in our area, many change from a returning inmate, to leave and not return, because of Sheriff Seals and Staff, sharing the vision of the love of Jesus through these services. I feel strongly when our community comes together to involve itself, and build a half-way house for those released and have no where to go, and no one to turn to, the numbers of returnees would drastically change. This not only would help these men and women, but cut down the County’s expenses on continued housing at the expense of we the taxpayers. I urge all concerned parties to pray for this and come together to see this done. I thank God for having a Sheriff and Staff, that truly cares about the future of these inmates and the lives of their families! Just called to ask about gun laws as I will be visiting the state. I’ve done this in other states and got a huge run around and never a clear answer. I spoke with dispatch operator 1807 who was able to help me, going so far as to look up the laws for me. This man should be commended for his telephone etiquette and commitment to his job.

I'm very impressed by the professional and quick response to a relatively minor issue last night. It was greatly appreciated. The young Deputy that responded was polite, understanding and proficient in his actions. Thank you Sir!
