We started with the burnt end lettuce wraps. WOW!! Amazing flavor, perfectly seasoned and sauced.

I had the wood fired half chicken. This entree came with mashed potatoes (some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten) and mixed veggies (green beans, brussel sprouts and carrots). The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly. The veggies were delicious.

My wife had the counselor burger with fries. YUM!! Try their homemade honey mustard sauce with the fries!!

My wife ended with the coffee cheese cake, I hate coffee, so I wouldn't try it, my wife enjoyed it.
I had the key lime pie, OMG!!! I've had key lime pie in the keys, this was the best key lime I've ever eaten.

Bottom line, Campfire Grill has created an amazing menu, everything is seasoned and sauced to perfection. They have specials every night that I will definitely go back and try.

Staff was amazing, our server Nickie was very informative with the menu, very observant of our needs, and very friendly.

Trust me, you won't be disappointed giving Campfire Grill a try.

Campfire Grill in Flat Rock is a lovely restaurant. The enchiladas were good. Hot tea and wood burning in the fireplace added to the cozy ambiance. My server was very welcoming and friendly.

We got the special ‘Shrimp Chowder’ to share as an appetizer. Wow, it was so delicious and hearty. The restaurant is very close to the Carl Sandburg home. Tawnee had the classic burger and I had the curry chicken salad sandwich each with the rosemary fries. The rosemary fries were okay but not our favorite. The Carolina Sweet and ranch sauces for the fries were great. We enjoyed our sandwiches, but I probably would go for a burger instead of the curry chicken. We would eat here again especially for the shrimp chowder.

Great place for great food. Not stuffy or caught up in formality but food is worthy of such a place. Service was so genuine and hospitable.
Lots of choices with a daily special. Specialty bar drinks as well as wines and beers. Had a bowl of loaded potato soup with burnt ends lettuce wraps and it was absolutely delicious......got full but still wanted to clean my plate because it tasted so so good. Entees are around $20...they offer apps, salads, sandwiches and entrees.

Got the classic cheeseburger and it was good, somewhat expensive for what you get so it wouldn't be a place that I would frequent often but it was enjoyable. I would come back again when in the area however It's not something I would go out of my way for but I'm glad that I got to try it.

We really enjoy this restaurant! I’d give it 4.5 stars. They allow dogs in the outdoor seating areas (yay). Food is above average and we have never left disappointed. Recommend for very good food in a casual (yet aesthetically-pleasing) spot.

Simply amazing food! We dropped by after a morning of picking apples at a nearby orchard. We only waited about 20 minutes before we were seated. I had the crab cake sandwich with fries, hubby had a burger, because he's not great at trying new things. Our friends had the chili, fried shrimp and wings. Everyone was very happy with the meal and service.

This is a fantastic restaurant!!! The menu has something for everyone's taste. We are vegetarians, but there are plenty of options for vegetarians and meat lovers. The food is fresh and gourmet which makes it delicious. The servers were friendly and helpful. They are going by the COVID-19 rules also. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean and decorative. The flowers out front are so pretty and welcoming. We ordered the Southwest Veggie Burger and the Fresh Vegetable Quiche. Both were prepared perfectly and wonderful.

5/9 Stopping in after hiking Sandburg has become a fun habit but today they outdid themselves with the biggest pieces of grilled chicken I’ve ever seen 😳😳😳

Great extension to Huba Buba which is a well established Flat Rock BBQ destination. Excellent salads and burgers and as the sign says with a sense of humor, If you want Bbq, Huba Buba is Downstairs!

Wow thank the food gods I decided to stop by. The waiters are very attentive and professional, and the foods is flavorful and looks can’t nearly describe the amazing taste. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and let me tell you it beat chick fila. That’s a bold statement. Massive carrot cake 🥕to finish things off. 10/10 coming back

Incredible experience at the Campfire Grill. Christine J and Ocean did a phenomenal job taking care of us and going above and beyond to serve our group of 7. The salmon, trout and fish dip were all incredible! Great selection of fresh local beers. Loved our time for dinner here and will be back again.

We ate here after seeing Macbeth at Flat Rock Playhouse. We started with the smoked fish dip, which was very good with the cucumbers, and the phenomenal brown butter saltines. My husband had the braised short ribs and I had the Tuesday fish special, sword fish. We split a side salad that was very large. Vegetables and mash accompanied our mains. All were delicious. We cleaned our plates, and sadly, had no room for dessert.

Had an excellent casual dining experience here recently. Interesting wines, appetizers and dinner items available. Friendly, knowledgeable server gave super recommendations for all courses. House-made key lime pie was a superb ending. Campfire Grill was worth the wait and we look forward to returning soon!

We wanted to support a local, Flat Rock restaurant after a day of hiking, so we chose Campfire Grill. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and servers, terrific menu (so many entrees to choose from- we’ll return to try more), quaint atmosphere, and moderate prices. Exceptional cuisine- escargot was one of the best I’ve had, shrimp pasta was very flavorful, pork chop special topped with a spiced apple, meatloaf was so unique, and the BBQ ribs yummy! Thank you Campfire Grill!

Amazing place! A hidden gem!! Servuce was amazing! Food was tasty!! Ihave never seen employees so happy! Even the manager was great! Will be back! New Friday spot!

Had the Campfire Pasta. Wonderful!! Great sauce with excellent flavor. The chicken, sausage, and shrimp complimented the tender penne pasta. Outstanding Wednesdsy night special!

Mara was fantastic incredibly friendly and warm absolutely made my trip, the host I believe her name was Haley was great as well very friendly and welcoming. Food was pretty good, fries were the highlight. I think the burgers could be a little more seasoned.

The atmosphere is so lovely and the food was amazing! They have unique and simple combinations for a wide variety of food lovers. I recommend the burgers! Our server took great care of us, although the food did take a while despite it not being very crowded. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

The food was absolutely worth the wait I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend and we both loved it. Great food, great staff, and a great environment cannot recommend enough.

We stopped off at the Campfire Grill for dinner after a hike. The have indoor and outdoor seating. I hade the Counselor Burger with bacon jam and asparagus as a side. The food was great and the service was excellent. Dogs are allowed outside and they even have water bowls!
