After the passing of my father, we spoke to many Funeral Homes and the decision to use Clancy Strickland Wheeler was not based on price but was based on my first impression of speaking live to Andy. Andy's knowledge and compassion showed in my first call with him and throughout the process he was able to offer us options and choices in our final plans for our dad and he even went outside what you would think is the role of a Funeral Director. Andy has such In-depth knowledge and great tips of what to expect and how to plan well outside of the funeral process. Thanks for all the support, Andy and staff.

I never imagined that I’d be writing a review for a funeral home. But I cannot express how grateful I am to Andy and the entire team. From start to finish, the care that they showed from handling my father‘s body down to the last detail leading up to the burial. Also, worth mentioning, the actual home where they hosted the visitation is so beautiful, but also cozy somehow. I’ve been in funeral homes before that felt stuffy and weird. This was not that at all. They honored my father and my entire family. And I am forever grateful.

Andy, Laurie and the team at Clancy Strickland Wheeler are truly one in a million. My family cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion they gave us when they were helping us plan final arrangements for my 19 year old niece Skye who died unexpectedly, earlier this year. Every detail was handled with the utmost care. The care they gave my niece was extraordinary. Their communication is outstanding and we knew what was going to happen when, every step of the way. You can see and feel their deep commitment to helping families though difficult times with as much grace and dignity as possible. Thank you so much Andy, Laurie and team. My Father had passed on 12/26/23, this was the 1st time a family member had passed in our family. We had no idea about what to do, who to contact etc. There is so much to do in such a short time. With the passing of my father recently I was left with all of the decisions, paperwork and legwork for his funeral services. We happen to live very close to this funeral home so we checked the reviews and made the decision to go with Clancy Strickland and Wheeler.

Hands down, best decision we could have made. Andy Wheeler and his staff not only showed extreme compassion and patience, but they were very knowledgeable about the process and took so much off of my plate, at a very difficult time.

My father is a Vietnam Vet with the U.S. Marines and Andy handled all of the processes for proper burial in a National Cemetery, including a Veterans ceremony.

Death is a hard time for everyone involved but having people like Andy and his staff to walk you through it is priceless. They actually made a funeral experience a very positive and encouraging time for our family.

We recently lost our mother and it was very important that we honored her with services that reflected how amazing she was. Andy and his team at Clancy Strickland Wheeler helped us make that happen.

From the moment of her passing, Andy was there to guide us through all of the steps involved in this otherwise very overwhelming process. He and his team were kind, attentive, and professional. Andy was always very responsive via phone/email; he provided invaluable advice and recommendations; and he coordinated with the relevant vendors and church to ensure all of the services were conducted in a manner that was timely, organized, and aligned with our wishes.

The Funeral Home, where we held the visitation, is a beautiful building, with a layout that feels clean and open and is tastefully arranged and decorated. Andy and his team helped us to present a gorgeous slideshow and fill the space with many pictures and flowers. We couldn't have asked for a better space in which to honor our mother.

The next day, Andy and his team transported all of the relevant items to the church for the service -- which they were instrumental in coordinating -- and afterward, to the space where we held the reception. Following the services, Andy followed-up with us to facilitate the remaining tasks we had to complete.

Overall, I highly recommend Clancy Strickland Wheeler without reservation. There is not a negative thing I could say about the services they provided. They were exceptional. We feel very lucky that we were able to work with them; I can't imagine how difficult this process would have been otherwise.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Andy. We lost our dad suddenly and were at a total loss about what to do. Andy’s calm and compassionate nature was a godsend during this overwhelming time. Andy Wheeler handled the arrangements for my family after my mother's passing. We really appreciated Andy's compassion and professionalism. Additionally, the location (the old Crenshaw Hall Plantation) is lovely and very peaceful. The spacious grounds are a wonderful place for quiet reflection.

Outstanding! Andy, his wife and team were wonderful during such an overwhelming time for us. They were very helpful in all aspects of preparation through burial of my mom. The minute we walked in we loved the environment of the historical plantation house and knew it was the perfect choice for our moms service. Andy was more than accommodating to our hectic schedule and went out of his way to be helpful and conscientous. This being the second funeral I have had to plan, this one went so much smoother and easier than the first thanks to Andy. Andy is of no relation to me but he becomes a family member of each client with his character, compassion and integrity displayed while working with families at such a difficult time. My mother in law passed in NC and we were in Florida unable to leave for several days but Andy took care of everything with just a phone call and a few emails. Every step of the process they far exceeded our expectations. Once we were in NC, Andy made himself available whenever we needed. My wife had to meet with him without me one time, and like a true gentleman, he walked her to the car. We've dealt with several other funeral homes in the area over the years, but none compare to CSW.
