The BEST key lime pie I have ever had and I’m from Florida!! The cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies are awesome too! Everyone is so sweet there and the shop is adorable! One of my new favorites in Flat Rock❤

I pre-ordered chocolate chip cookies and bought a Confetti pie when I picked up. Everything was amazing.

The cookies are huge and delicious. The pie was rich but we still couldn't stop eating it.

The customer service is wonderful. A great local family business to support.

Legit the greatest chocolate chip cookie I have ever had in my life. These cookies could probably bring about world peace. If I could select my last meal it would be those cookies. Don’t get me started on the Cinnamon Rolls and pie. It’s like the good Lord allowed us to taste manna from heaven. Don’t rob yourself of joy and drive past this kingdom of flavor.

Our Recipe Roots is in our "backyard" in the Village of Flat Rock. The shop opened during the pandemic and we had just moved into the area. We gave them our business and the sweet owner, adorable setting and personal meaning behind their venture were enough to keep us coming back alone but then... the pies!!! We have now bought them as gifts, brought them to birthday parties, served them for guests in our home and got two more for Thanksgiving. THEY'RE A HIT! This family favorite will now be yours as well. They just opened with new spring hours this week.
