Gabe Nesbitt Community Park

We love Gabe Nesbitt. Whether we are attending a baseball game at the Fields, exploring the grounds and gardens, or participating with a day pass at the water park. There is so much for anyone and any sport. It really is a community place. The fields are well maintained, the gym for indoor sports is clean, and staff at the door is attentive to the children. They won’t let kids just run around by themselves. Major plus! The courts are indoor and outdoor pickle and tennis courts. There is also the aquatic center with indoor and outdoor swimming. The gym has an indoor track, lots of classes, a clean locker room and day care. The football field and soccer fields are well maintained too. I love that there are playgrounds for the young kids at the fields. It makes it easy for parents who have to juggle watching the game and entertaining the little ones who don’t sit still for very long. The fields and the indoor courts have concessions with a lot of options.

Great place to watch your grandchild play baseball. It’s got covered bleachers, a plane for your lawn chairs if you bring some, and a concession stand.

I love walking my dog here! The skate park looks fun too.

Very nice park pretty much have everything you could need for an afternoon of fun. We use the tennis courts today nice facility.

Love this park. My kids skateboard and scooter here often, and the older skaters are generally careful and respectful of the kids.
There are three playgrounds, and all have some shade provided. Our favorite is near the baseball fields and has three levels of fun. There are walking trails and fields. There are restrooms and drinking fountains.

I simply love Gabe Nesbitt Park. Its interesting, I love it for not what it is today, moreso the potential. Just recently the City Of McKinney decided to invest money into the Park again. There is so much land, there are endless possibilities. Currently its has a skateboard park, a Tennis Facility, many baseball and soft ball fields. Just recently they advertising the are having a winter wonderful exhibit. I'm so excited.

One of the best places to play Pokemon Go via bikeing, walking, skating and even driving slowly!

This is a great place to take the kids while you unwind. There are large umbrellas & beach chairs for all. I have been twice and was not disappointed. There is a lazy river, two super slides, a little slide for kiddos, a toddler pool, and more. If you are not a member of the center, you can purchase a family pass. I paid $20.

Great place for kids. Several Playgrounds, ball park, tennis courts, skate park, restrooms and trails are all inside.

We come to the park for the best Tennis facilities in the area. With the addition of indoor courts and Tennis programs, this place is a must on the list. The baseball and softball facilities are top notch as well.

The new play structures they've added are absolutely amazing. They need a bit more shaded seating for the adults, but my kids will play on these for hours while the older ones have baseball!

Very well maintained park in the softball field area. We have our games there once to twice a week. Concessions are great too!

Our kids have played baseball here for years. I love that they have playgrounds for the younger siblings that are centrally located. It makes a huge difference and allows us to actually watch the game while the younger kids are safely occupied and happy. They recently updated both playgrounds that are right by the upper and lower fields. The baseball fields are all very well maintained with plenty of seating and areas for your own chairs. They have wireless scoreboards through an app so you don't have to mess with picking up an electronic setup anymore. I wish there was a sign near the skatepark to let you know if the bathrooms are open so you know not to walk all the way there to only have to head back to the entrance to the fields or go elsewhere if you are at the playground by the tennis courts. Not sure why the bathrooms there are closed so often.

My kids love this park! Very nice long walking paths and restrooms are available. Very convenient and accessible!!

Great park for the family. The trail goes alongside a drainage system that looks a lot like a pretty stream when walking by. My daughter loves seeing the fish and my son is enjoys his stroller rides.

Our family loves these ball fields. They're always clean, concessions are great, and the fields are always in great condition!

This is not your Hurricane Harbor or Hawaiian Falls, it is much smaller. However, it is a great place when you just want to go swimming. My 3 year old had a blast in the kids area and really enjoyed the lazy river. It is a reasonable price and parking is free.

We were visiting the city and wanted to take the kids out. Love this park! They have a lot of amenities including skateboard park, a Tennis Facility, many baseball and soft ball fields, even an option to play Pickle ball! For member I belive it is $4 per person to play. It started raining just as we were about to play so they refunded us without even us having to ask. So ended up going to one of the covered playgrounds and kids still enjoyed even though they were disappointed that they couldn't play Pickle ball. Highly recommend!
