My wife and I have been visiting Dr. Icho for over a year and she has handled checkups, blood work, follow-ups and referrals perfectly. She enjoys seeing both of us and asks us how our lives are doing. I am grateful because the Health Care plan we are on only offers her office within 25 miles of our home (15 other doctors dropped Molina Health Care Dec 2015) and so we don't have much choice but we are 100% fine with that.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Icho for a few years. I’m always able to get an appointment and can reschedule if needed. I do have a few complaints about the high turnover of the staff and heavy concentration of ICD9 codes (Insurance billing). Over all I still give 5 stars. I have good insurance coverage and my health needs are met.

I just want everyone to know that this docter is busy, stern and a matter of fact at times. But Dr. ICHO Is thoughtful and kind as well reconizes you as a person not just another patient. She showed character and heart by taking a second to just hear who I am. She heard and remembers my story. Things about my life and will ask me along the year how my family is or if say something is going on in my life she remembers and checks as to how its all going. I as well respect and admire her as a leader for my Granddaughters. She always looks beautiful and smiles even after shes had to be stern
or has gotten irritated at me she ends every visit with a caring attitude and a smile. Thank you Doc! For treating me as a human being that chose to be your patient. I pray that you continue to be blessed in your gift of being a wonderful doctor and a caring person. Love ya Doc!

A year ago she had me and my daughter take off work, had me waiting over 1 hour, and was never seen went off on the staffing.
2nd time appt. Wanted my daughter out of school to just discuss about her appt i refused to take my daughter out of school just to discuss during testing time.
I wanted again over 1 hour wasted my time for nothing just to tell me " IM sorry but we have to reschedule on their behalf. Went off again and got all information told them she is always late ,organiz3d and use everyone insurance to collect i was done with this doctor after that .
Staff was terrible and she always billed me and was never organized.

Dr. Icho unfortunately does not have the best bedside manners. The office staff is her family, she does not allow them to do their job she micro manages every aspect... She'll leave patients unattended to attend to her cash register like it's a supermarket. The place stinks literally! Medicaid is wrong as f for assigning her patients.

Corrupt "doctor" who does not care about you. Avoid at all costs.

Reasoning (please read in full if you are still unsure):

- Orders unnecessary tests to bill more money from your insurance. Will try to play it off as "defensive medicine just to be safe", but she knows that you don't need actually need it and will do everything in her power to make as much money as possible.

- Even went as far as to FALSIFY THE RESULTS OF A TEST, claiming that I must see her "specialists" to address the "serious health issue". These "specialists" are strangely are only available at her office every 3 months. Let me ask you something, Icho. If it was a serious health issue that required the attention of specialists, why would I wait to see them in 3 months, moreover, why must I wait for them to be present at your office? Not only do you lack ethics in your practice, but you lack common sense as well. She only care about scheduling as many appointments and billing as many tests as possible. And if you are wondering, of course I found the results very hard to believe, so I went to a well-credited specialist with ACTUAL MORALS AND ETHICS to perform the same test. Guess what? I was completely healthy. You may be thinking, what if she misinterpreted the results of the test, or if the test somehow had outside interference, thus skewing the results? I find that hard to believe as she has somehow been practicing for well over a decade. Mistakes happen, sure. But some mistakes should never be made (i.e. in the medical field). But even in that situation, she should be able to deduce the results are incorrect if they are indicating I have a serious health issue, despite being a very active young man in my prime physique and health, with no history of medical issues. OR at least re-run the test to confirm the results were not an outlier.

- Not a friendly doctor (or person). Runs a family medicine clinic but does not exhibit what it means to be a family doctor. Does not bother to get to know patients or at least seem happy. Maybe it's because she doesn't care about you, and only cares about getting money from your insurance?

- Office is depressing and filthy. Staff reflect the disgusting environment, too. It seems like an incompetent, corrupt doctor runs a poor excuse for a medical office with staff who could care less about who you are or your health.

Unfortunately, the practice of ordering extensive unnecessary medical tests is not illegal, as doctors like herself use the classic "just to make sure" excuse.

Please heed my warnings and avoid her at all costs. There are so many other doctors in the area that have not thrown away their morals the moment they opened their own practice.

Dr. Nanette Icho is not one of them.

Not even worth one start. Dr. ICHO doesn't care about her patients, won't send in medicines when she's supposed to and is just neglagent and dismissive. She will hang up on you if you try to get her to send your prescriptions, which in this case could lead to death without having, and ignore your request for more than a week after your appointment.

This so called Doctor is a joke! She is irresponsible, does not follow thru and does not care about her patients. Obviously all she cares about is the money she receives from medicaid. She can't even send a referral. Either she doesn't know how or doesn't care. Find another doctor if you care about your health.

Doctor Nenette icho is the worst Doctor I've ever had, her staff is horrible, Her only interest is keeping you coming in for as many appointments as possible, she eats up your insurance and does nothing for you. Don't use her as your doctor, she's a scam.

I went to Dr. Icho in order to get a refill for my cholesterol medicine. This visit would come under my annual wellness exam. I found the office staff to be unprofessional and inefficient. They did not know what they were doing. My blood pressure was taken by the nurse, but nothing else was done. The nurse spent most of the time entering information into the computer from the paperwork I filled out. Dr. Icho listened to my heart, but did nothing else. She also spent most of the time entering information into the computer. I had checked ahead of time with my insurance company regarding which lab was in my network (Quest Diagnostics). I told Dr. Icho I needed to go to my network lab. She tried several times to tell me that their lab (Labcorp) was also in my network. She said that she has many people using my same insurance, and Labcorp was not a problem. I told her I had already checked with my insurance company, and then suggested her office call my insurance. Dr. Icho then dropped the matter. I was told to schedule a recheck to review my labs. I found it to be unusual that I had to come back for lab results. Most doctors (all I have been to) call you after the labs come back, and let you know about anything that is a problem. The recheck appointment was even worse than the initial visit. I was charged a $30 copay for a visit that should not have been necessary. I was in the office over an hour. Once again, quite a bit of time was spent entering mundane information in the computer. There should have been very little information to enter. When the medical student or assistant left the room, I looked at my information that was left on the computer. I saw that the office had already scheduled me for another recheck in three months. Dr. Icho finally came into the room. She went over the labs (she was looking at them for the first time), and refilled my cholesterol medicine for only three months. I told her that I usually get a refill for 6-12 months. She would not refill the script for more than three months, and I was told to come back to the office in three months. Before I walked out of the office, the receptionist gave me a printout of the office visit recommendations, appointments, etc. and gave me an appointment card. As I walked to my car, I saw that they had gone ahead and scheduled my next appointment in three months. They never asked me what day or time I wanted. It was just scheduled without any input from me. I walked back to the office, and told them to cancel the appointment. I called back a week later to check they had canceled my appointment. They had not. There was also a six month appointment that they had gone ahead and scheduled without my input. Once again, I told them to cancel the appointments. If you are going to this doctor to just get a prescription refilled or to have labs ordered, be aware that you will be told you have to come back to have the labs read to you. If you want to view your labs without going back to the doctor, you can set up an account with your lab and view them online. The lab first sends the results to the doctor, but then has them available for the patient also. I found Quest Diagnostics results very easy to read. This was the worse doctor’s office I have ever been to. They are unprofessional and inefficient and schedule unnecessary appointments in order to get more money from the insurance company. Horrible place!

This doctor is a joke. I was new to the area and scheduled for prescription refill. The wait was very long and everyone there seemed to be new or in training. Dr. Icho had bloodwork done and gave me a refill for one month and said shed like to see my bloodwork results before she could give a longer prescription refill. At the time of the visit, I was scheduled a follow-up appointment a week later to be read my results. I asked her if I could received them in any other way because I worked an hour away and had to take off a significant amount of time to drive there, wait to see the doctor, and then drive back to work. She assured me the follow-up visit would be faster because it was just "results", and told me I had to actually come in for a visit to get my results and was advised to schedule early in the morning before going to work to avoid long travel time. Not only had I never experienced being asked to make a follow-up appointment for results, when I came back for the results, there were none! After sitting in the room for what seems like forever, I was told my labs had been misplaced and I was asked to do it again! The absolute worst doctors experience I have ever had!!

Omega Heights is an absolute mess of a doctors office. Her staff are incompitent, her wait times are anywhere from 2 hours to 4 hours, The physical office is absolutely disgusting, and Dr. Icho herself is incredibly rude, and dismissive. I scheduled an ultrasound of my liver to be done in office. She schedules everyone on the same day, because the specialists that perform the test only come once a year. So, I waited about 5 months for this test. The day i showed up for the test, I was in the waiting room for 3 hours before getting called back to wait another 45 minutes. The specialists were very nice and professional. After they bagan the test with the lights off in the room, Dr. Icho burst in the room, turned the lights on and started verbally attacking the specialists for how long the process is taking. I waited for months for that procedure and she couldve jeopardized the results. She is an awful, cheap, and disgusting doctor.

The front desk staff is rude and dismissive and is not capable of explaining the paperwork they are handing you. Just listening to them talk to other people on the phone is awkward with how they talk. The nurses are a bit slow. And I don't mean that the can't run fast. She seriously asked me how tall I was because she could not convert inches to feet after she measured me. She had to ask multiple times how to do data entry into their computer and just wasn't listening. She had to ask the same questions multiple times. Not to mention scheduling appointments without my knowledge. As for Dr icho, she tries to force you to pay a co pay just to read lab results. And she was seconds away from referring me to a surgeon for a self diagnosed hernia without even looking at it. Do not come here. Your life literally depends on it.
