I used to come here all the time it was the closest creek to my place loved it eventually started bringing my pup he loved it as well. Good for a morning run and great way to escape from day to day hassle. The only problem is that they started doing construction on one of the sides where there where apartments.

Maybe one day we can travel out of state on these trails... anything can happen! Who do I talk to about adding more Greenway trails?

Miles of natural scenery that I’ve both walked and biked on. Can get hot in some areas that are less shaded.

Excellent trail to either walk, run or bike. Clean, wide trail that goes on for miles, a lot of shade all throughout and mile markers every now and then.

Weekends nice amount of people. Weekends a little sparse, be aware. Cyclist look out for peds. Peds look out for cyclists and it would be a wonderful experience. Except for the some cyclists & e-cyclist, using the trail as a racetrack. Need more police presence.

I've discovered this trail this week and with this pandemic, the trail allows me to be outside and be free. You see people biking, walking, jogging and all and it's great. I've seen a lot of deers probably closer to Ingram Road and they're not even scared of people. Someone told me there's a boar in this area as well and I haven't seen it yet.

The only thing I hate is dog poop right on the trail/pavement. If someone with dogs can explain to me why people let their dogs poop right where people walk. Why not pull the dog on the side and do their business where people don't step on.

Need to get out and exercise, this is the place. Nice trail, lots of curves, lots of ups and downs, which is perfect for biking plus Deers are everywhere, 🦌 always see them early in the morning 🌄

Beautiful area! I love looking over the quarry area and the tons of flowers and cactus in the area. Make sure you have a camera, the blooms are almost always worth it!

Loved it as I roller skate on quads and all the paved trails are extremely smooth well swept and kept , and it's just freaking awesome if you like skate trails, would much rather prefer a evening of jam skating on nice trails rather than the rink and these trails definitely deliver however not recommended for beginners or novice , recommended for experienced and comfortable skaters .........will definitely be returning

Nice spot to begin a ride heading north through San Antonio. This trailhead also has a southern heading. From this trailhead, you are connect to a network of other trails and parks, especially O. P. Schnabel park.
