FM 78 Auto Center

They did right by me!! I wholeheartedly support FM78 Auto Center with their fair pricing, quality of service and quick turnaround on my classic Mini for electrical troubleshooting! Customer service was excellent and personable leaving nothing short of great impressions and understanding as they treated my car with great respect and understanding my vehicle! I will use again soon for other electrical work, thanks again!!

They were extremely helpful. We took our car to get new tires after a flat at another place and they sheared off two of our lug nuts. They sent us to FM 78 Auto Center. The people who broke my car were giving them a hard time and decided they didn't like the quotes, after some back and forth we got our car fixed at no cost to us. The mechanic "Bobby" was very great, he explained everything and even showed us our old part and the damage that was done to it, he also explained how he fixed it. The office manager handled the "Tire Place" that broke my car professionally and relayed to us all the information from every phone call. The receptionist and other mechanics we very nice to my husband and I as we waited for everything to be sorted out. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs repairs to their automobile. Definitely a 4 star experience.

I called yesterday for an appointment to fix the AC in my SUV. I dropped it off this morning, had the diagnosis and estimate by lunch, and picked up my car in the afternoon.
The service was fast, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the price was affordable, the repair was perfect, the text updates make the introvert in me ecstatic, and the place is SUPER clean!
Will definitely be returning…

Very nice place.. they let me tow my truck over there and leave details message on what I needed done with my truck. So they can start working on it 👍❗ update. I finally got my truck back 🤬 just went in for a tune-up basic oil change.. power steering pump replacement. Now my truck doesn't even run water come out of the bottom of my truck. Had no oil no water and no power steering fluid 🤬 don't use them..

The interaction I had with Ms Kathy at the front desk to the Manager, Mr Cody, was so pleasant. They were both courteous, professional, friendly and competent. My car is 23 years old, not made any more and staff understood why I wanted it fixed and fixed right. The staff was very respectful of my concerns.I was referred by a relative who only does business with this shop when he absolutely has to have his vehicle(s) repaired by professionals. I highly recommend FM78 Auto Repair.

Took truck in for electric short. Had my own parts. Had oil change, and asked to put new tail gate handle put on. They did not charge to put tail gate handle on. The amount I paid for was low. They fit in a state inspection before I left the shop. I have already set up an appointment to have the air conditioning looked at. I definitely recommend Hwy 78 auto repair to everyone.

Took my truck in for some repairs and very satisfied with result. Cody was the best, awesome customer service. Kathy in the front office was A+ as well. Thank you for all you guys did. Defo recommend them to people I know in need of GOOD mechanic.

John the owner and Ron his manager honestly do the best they can. I have been taking my three older vehicles to them for a decade now and know them to be honest. I have recommended them many times and everyone I sent their way was happy with them. It is nice to have a local mechanic that does a good job and does not try to take advantage of you.

Very honest establishment! They fixed my thermostat a year or so ago & recently I was told I needed a starter, but after checking it out, they found all I needed was bolts! MAIN STREET GARAGE would've ripped me off & that's the very reason I'm never going back to them!! Kathy was also great over the phone & in person! Highly recommend!!

Went it I had a 6 cylinder misfire. Dropped car off at 830am was ready by 2pm.. 3 most important people you choose is your barber, who you choose to have kids with and your mechanic..

Great place, family owned and operated, and very knowledgeable. I was in from Houston when my rental truck had issues. The lady that answered the phone suggested a great towing service and when I arrived they had an empty bay waiting for me. The owner/manager met me outside and knew all my info from the previous call I made. A tech accompanied the owner while asking me some diagnostic questions. Immediately after our conversation the tech began working on my rental truck. If I ever need service again while in San Antonio, this is where I will bring my vehicle.

Another awesome job and very reasonably priced. They actually find the problem and fix it, not just throw parts at it. Have used FM78 Auto Center several times with great results, highly recommended. They serviced our Dodge Grand Caravan 3-7-2012.

Great service, reasonably priced. They are upfront and honest with you on what's wrong with your vehicle they're not going to jerk you around and they're going to get the work done in a quick timely fashion. Me and my family have been going to them for little over 20 years. I highly recommend them they work on all vehicles.

Excellent service and friendly staff. It is a local mechanic shop and the owner also lives in Converse. The very best thing is that they don't try and sell you what you don't need. They treat each customer as if they were the only one there and speak to you intelligently and never down to you.

The staff go well above and beyond. They go w/their diagnosis w/o trying to sell you services you don't need. Total transparency on their findings. If they can't resolve your car's issue, they'll tell you. No "band-aid" repairs. I tell everyone I know to take their cars to FM 78 Auto first.

Just brought my truck here. They brought me out and showed me exactly what was happening and what needed to be fixed. They fixed it much sooner than I expected. Overall I had a great experience. I'll be using them again in the future.

John and the techs at FM 78 took my dead van and resurrected it from beyond. They removed the engine, had it rebuilt and reinstalled it! Now I’m running calls and making progress, thanks a million for the quality and expertise you guys demonstrated on my vehicle!!
