Perky Paws Pet Hospital

Perky Paws is absolutely amazing. I have been taking my fur babies there since she was 6 months old she is now 11 yrs old. They have walked me through all stages of her life since she is my first fur baby and didn’t know what to expect as a first time pet owner. I now have 3 pups under their care. Everyone from the front desk (Erica) to the techs (Randy) down to the AMAZING vet (Dr. M) and (Dr. Farmer) They have taught me how to properly be the best pet parent I can be. They are attentive and caring as my pup gets older and educate me on proper care. Thank you Perky Paws for all you assistance and care. :)

Best atmosphere, so clean and the people are so nice! The vet listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. The grooming was also amazing! I would definitely recommend this place.

Highly recommend Perky Paws Pet Hospital to anyone that may be in search of a good vet. All of their staff is fantastic. We’ve been going there for a while and have always had good experiences with them. My two pups had their dental cleanings today with Courtney as their technician and everything went amazing. From the moment she met them, I knew they would be in good hands. She told us the plan from start to finish and was communicative throughout the day providing us with updates. I truly appreciate the love and care that was shown to our little ones.

I have had great experiences with Dr. Farmer and the staff at Perky Paws. I know my dog is well taken care of at each visit, with or without me present. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Perky Paws. We love the vet, the staff was very friendly and helpful when my very old dog had difficulty on the super clean but slippery (for old guys) floors. My dog is nearing the end of his life, and our visit was about pain relief for the time that he has left. The Dr. took ample time to explain pain relief options and end of life care. Excellent pet hospital. I drive 15 miles to go to this vet. Our old vet is 1.5 miles away.

Perky Paws is one of a few really top notch centers that are still open on Saturdays. They have a full staff that is dedicated to providing quality care and always concerned about the little things. They were my back up vet when needed and now I can say it’s my vet. Thank you Perky Paws and especially Dr. Bobo.

I’ve been taking both my current cat Sushi and my late cat Nosey here for years.

When Nosey needed to be put down, they gave us multiple options, as well as their professional opinion based on their knowledge. They didn’t charge a crazy amount, and they were incredibly kind and caring throughout the whole horrifying process that many of us have to go through. When we picked up the ashes a few days later, they were in a beautiful mahogany box with the words we chose to inscribe on it. Furthermore, they had put her paw prints and her name on a circular clay disk that can be used as a Christmas ornament or just something to hang up. They even wrote a handwritten condolences card, personally signed by every employee at Perky Paws. When I picked all of this up, I knew that I was dealing with people who cared deeply for all animals, mine included.

My other cat, Sushi, has received nothing but excellent care here. I’ve gone months without bringing her to Perky Paws, yet every time I walk through the door, they immediately know I’m bringing Sushi. Just shows that at the very least, they memorize the schedule of who has appointments every day and at what time. Obviously that isn’t a big deal, but it’s a nice touch that lets me know they genuinely care about who walks through those doors.

Sushi, like most cats, despises the vet. But I know for a fact that she’s much calmer here than any other vet she’s been to. Not to mention all of her issues are gone after taking her here.

I cannot recommend Perky Paws enough. Great service for a GREAT price.

Perky Paws is the only place I will ever take my pets to. Dr. Bobo and Courtney were amazing with my anxious cat. They made her feel immediately calm and made the whole experience very pleasant and efficient.

Great experience! The staff is so sweet and kind to our elderly pet and the Dr was awesome! We never felt rushed and he explored several things that another vets did not look at.

This is a very lengthy review. First of all the whole staff is so nice. When you first walk in, it’s like you’re going into a spa. Very, very clean and smells good. It could actually be a spa for pets. All the doctors & techs are hands on. Dr. Sayger, Dr. Molly and Dr. Farmer saved my old pups. I just wished I would of found them earlier. Regardless, all my senior babies stayed with our family for 7 more months. I am so grateful for the entire staff at Perky Paws. Their care towards pets are compassionate, concise and shows all the lab, X-ray,results and explains everything thoroughly. My daughter’s (son) got very, very sick. While they were in honeymoon. I called Perky Paws, they managed to see him even though he doesn’t live here. Dr. Farmer took charge with Theo’s condition and she saw something she didn’t like. She advised me to have Theo get an ultra sound and see the internist. Had she not taken this action, Theo would be dead. I am ever so grateful for the entire team at Perky Paws staff. Thank you! I was reading some of the reviews on perky Paws Pet Hospital. The vast majority of them were excellent. But a few people out there were negative mostly based on pricing. I would ask those folks how do you put a price on the excellent care and service that your pet gets when they go to perky paws and Dr Farmer. I feel like Ella is an important part of my family and I would not trust my care to anyone else but Dr Farmer she is an excellent vet and truly cares about Ella and there is no one else I would refer a pet owner to go to. Best in McKinney and the surrounding area.

First time here and it was great, they treated my cat with care and showed genuine love for him. Professional and welcoming environment. My cat came in for a groom and an exam, will definitely be coming back!

Our lovable labradoodle Happy came out looking beautiful yet again! (And happy too).

I work with animals. Have been working with them for well over 30 yrs now, both in private homes and animal shelters across the coutnry. I want to take the time to give a HUGE shout out to this Veterinarian facility. EVERYTIME I have called them for advice, referrals or have found an injured wildlife animal on the road, it's THIS PLACE who have ALWAYS told me "YES", when OTHERS in this town have told me "NO". I really CANNOT say enough on how professional and HELPFUL these people have been, ever since I moved here roughly 8 yrs ago. As an animal advocate, someone who works daily with animals and is a pet parent myself, it's VITAL for me to know who I can turn to in cases of emergencies and/or care for the pets I care for. Thank you PERKY PAWS for ALWAYS helping me, be able to help animals in need during critical times when especially they needed it. 💛

Always a great experience at Perky Paws. Dr. Bobo is the BEST!! They are a bit pricey there so be prepared to empty your wallet. 😀

Appreciated the doc spending so much time with my dog and me. Never felt rushed and she really did well at explaining my dogs health.

So impressed! This was my first time at Perky Paws… I came because my old vet joined them. It is so nice!!!! Smells amazing (weird compliment, I know, but it made an impression). Everyone is extremely nice and outgoing. I’m so glad Dr. Greg Bobo moved there!
