Imperial Cleaners & Tailor

We have been using Imperial for over 4 years and they have always been great. They are friendly and courteous, the quality of their work is good, and their prices are competitive. We use them mostly for weekly dry cleaning and occasionally for tailoring. We highly recommend them and appreciate their good work.

These folks are great, especially Jane, the lady at the counter. I am a building engineer and I had split the seam in the back of my work pants - no I am not a heavy set guy :). Anyway, I stopped in there and Jane had them repaired in less than 5 minutes! I was blown away! I cannot thank her and Imperial Cleaners enough for saving the day!

Went here to get my son's pants hemmed and the lady was friendly and seemed to know her stuff. It's a bit far for me to get dry cleaning done here but it's good to know she knows her seamstress stuff if I ever needed one.

I've used them hundreds of times. Cleanings and altering. Rarely have had to have anything redone. Love the girl who works there. She's so sweet.

I needed a dresses hem fixed before going on a trip a day later. Nobody ever reached out to tell me it was fixed so I didn't get to take it.

I have been here several times and have had good experiences, but I brought in a bridesmaids dress- more than 2 weeks before the event. ALL I needed was 2 inches cut off the bottom. They measured it on me, put pins in where the hem needed to be done, and told me it would be done within a week.

I went back to get my dress and it was dry cleaned and packaged in plastic with a receipt. All good, right? They charged me 90 dollars (which i thought was high but everything is expensive these days, so I was fine with it). I get to the wedding to put on my dress, and get poked by a pin. They did not hem my dress AT ALL. I was tripping on it all night, and they even left a pin in the dress. It was very clear they just took out most of the pins and wrapped it up to make it look like the work was done- and it never was.

Lesson learned to always try on your dress after taking it to the tailor….. but I just don’t trust them here at all anymore!

I went to have my bridesmaid dress tailored, mind you I only needed a few alterations done. The day I went and got my measurements, the lady working refused to tell me the price, said she didn’t know and would have someone else contact me. So she got my number and put in my request, I was never contacted, not even to be let known that my dress was ready. Today I went in to check on it and figure out the pricing. They charged me almost $100 just to cut off the bottom and I do mean literally just cut, they didn’t stitch back the bottom lining. I will never go here again.

DON'T GO THERE!!!!! My daughter lent a formal dress to a friend. The friend took it to this cleaner for a couple of small spots and they ruined the dress. When she picked it up there were splatters everywhere and the bow was pinned on. They claimed that there was glue under the bow and that is what did it. When asked to make it right they finally offered a $50 credit for their store. I don't use that cleaner and after their attitude with this I never will.
