Heritage Learning Center

I cannot believe it's taken me this long to write a review! My son went to HLC and now my daughter is there. We cannot say enough great things about this school. The staff is friendly and caring. Both of my children have developed wonderful relationships with their teachers and so have my husband and I. It's a relief when your kids WANT to go to school. Thank you Heritage!!

We LOVE Heritage. I have had my two kids enrolled here for 2.5 years and have never had a single complaint. My son is back for clubhouse this year and he has had such a blast with all of the activities. My daughter is heading into Pre-k here and couldnt be more excited about being in the big kid class. All of the teachers and staff are exceptional! I am so happy we found you guys, it makes being a working mom so much easier knowing my kids are in such capable hands!

Heritage is a fabulous place to have your children grow and learn. I have worked at Heritage for many years, and I witnessed the care and compassion all of the staff has for the children entrusted in their care. Heritage is my second family. I was so sad when I had my own daughter that I lived too far away to send her to Heritage. If we ever move to McKinney, my child will be enrolled as fast as we could get her there. I compare all other child care centers to Heritage, because I feel they are the best!

My son just left Heritage Learning Center to start Kindergarten. We joined Heritage 18months ago when I decided to take him out of Montessori because of all the good things I had heard from a couple of friends about Heritage. Well, today after attending his elementary school "Meet the Teacher' evening, I can say I made the right decision! Heritage taught my 4yr old how to read well amongst many other great things!
Made me super proud. My daughter also attended Heritage and her development and academic performance is exceptional. I love love Heritage! Staff are friendly, kind and experienced! Highly recommend!

We moved to Texas from the east coast earlier this year and had no clue where to send our boys. They started at another daycare in McKinney (a larger chain) and it was an awful experience! After more research, I did a tour of Heritage with Ms. Dee Dee (the director) and I knew immediately that this was the place for us! The staff is warm and friendly...and so are the kids! The summer program was awesome with a nice variety of activities that kept them busy. They do a great job making Heritage a fun place for the kids to learn and play! We love the book club (which helps pre-K kiddos start to learn how to read), the water park on grounds, the "Fun Bus", after school care, along with several other classes they offer. We absolutely love the teachers they've had so far...Ms. Mary, Ms. Becky, Ms. Becca, Ms. Abby, Ms. Bree, Ms. Karla & Ms. Kelly. Our family is so thankful for Heritage and welcoming us into the family!

After moving to Texas from Tucson, we found ourselves searching the entire region for a "Good" reasonable place to watch after my daughters.

We are not disappointed at all that we stumbled upon Heritage Learning Center.

Everybody we have encountered has been "Top-Notch".

They are constantly in contact to report both positive as well as the occasional not so positive things going on.

The environment is very conducive to learning.
The teachers have all been very capable and responsible, every single one of them.
The Director is always very upbeat and positive.
All the ladies up front are always accommodating in whatever challenges life might bring.

It is just one ease of mind knowing where my daughters are, and the environment they are surrounded by.

Oh, and neither of my daughters can leave without saying Hi to Max the Dog.

Anybody that is really concerned about the well being of their children should at least investigate what Heritage has to offer. I am certainly glad we did.

My son is thriving here! All of the teachers and staff are so kind and accommodating. That positive energy never changes! They are consistent and genuinely care about my son. They offer so many different amenities, activities and programs. Thank you HLC we love y'all!

HLC is an Awesome childcare center! I have worked at Heritage for many years and my children attended Heritage as well. Working at Heritage inspired me to continue my education and complete my Master's degree in human development and early childhood disorders. My children have grown to become mature, respectful adults. My son has just graduated from electrical engineering from the university of Texas at San Antonio. My daughter, a Yale graduate, is following her dreams of becoming a doctor. Heritage has always been a second home to us. The Heritage family took us in (an immigrant family) when we moved to McKinney. Through the nurturing, loving environment at Heritage we learned the American culture. We were blessed to have found Heritage at a time when we needed it the most. I would, without any reservations, put my children in Heritage again.

I had my eye on HLC since we moved to the area in January of 2017. As soon as my son turned 18 months old, we had him enrolled in their Little Primers program. We have been there for about 6 months now and this has by far been the best school he has ever been to. Due to moving, changing jobs, and other factors, we’ve had to change daycares more often than I would have liked. I’m happy to say we’ve found a second home for our son at HLC. His teachers have been communicative, supportive, and understanding, especially through some tougher developmental moments. We are amazed at how much he is learning. It’s music to my ears to have him tell me he likes his teachers and friends. He is happy when I drop him off and happy when I pick him up. Thank you, HLC, for loving our boy. We look forward to spending the next few years with you.

My son just graduated from PreK at Heritage. He was at Heritage for two years. I am a first grade teacher, so I'm judging this preschool from a parent and teacher's perspective. I am so impressed with Heritage! My son loved going there and he grew, developed, and learned so much in his time there. The small group reading program they do with the PreK kids was right on for what students need in order to be prepared for kindergarten. The cost was very reasonable when compared with other preschools and daycares. My son could not have had better PreK teachers. They were so kind and loving, but they also had amazing classroom management. All of the staff were friendly and helpful on a consistent basis. Not only did I know my son would be cared for every day when I dropped him off, but I knew he was going to be learning and thriving. I highly recommend Heritage to all my teacher friends! Go for a visit. You'll be glad!

HLC is a phenomenal childcare center. Our two boys adore their teachers and have had nothing but good things to say about their experience. The entire staff is caring and makes each family feel like they are at home. We LOVE HLC and are very happy that we found a place we feel safe caring for our boys.

We enrolled our kids for Summer 2018. This was our first year at HLC. In fact this was our first experience with summer program and HLC made it super easy and fun for the kids (and us). We, as parents were able to focus on work with the peace of mind that kids are safe and having fun. This was one of the factors when deciding where the kids will go during summer.

Our oldest son has been attending since 2021 and has made such good progress. We can’t wait until our youngest can attend.

I love this place... The staff are all so polite and helpful. They treat all of the children like they are special. The children seem happy and appear to be having fun. I love that they will hug the children and tell each one bye as they are leaving. They always tell me to have a great weekend when I pick up my child.

In comment to the Military message: I happen to know Heritage is very aware of Military as the directors husband is a Marine and they too are proud of their God and Country. This long time director bends over backwards to help and assist everyone. The only thing I can imagine in this situation is that you were communicating with the wrong person. There are many who work there in the office that may not have communicated your need effectively and so the situation may have not been handled well or you were just given the wrong information. Thank you for defending our nation and I hope your child is happy at Primrose. Suggest you try to remember that everyone is human and has their good days and their bad days-even the military. And as military sounds like you were having a frustrating and bad day.

Hands down the best center we’ve found in McKinney! We love our son’s teacher just as much as he does! He’s learning so much and we couldn’t be happier!! Great place with a great staff!

Love this daycare! They go above and beyond and have plenty of activities for the kids!
