Very beautiful experience. Awkwardly quiet with the next table whispering about what we’re saying. Great crowd and the waitress was spot on. I loved the food, the cocktail and was a brisk to get a table and food served in no time.

Great home cooking in Dripping Springs close to the historic downtown area. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The venue is small, comfortable and cozy. They light the fireplace in the winter and on cold Texan days like today (35F) it was a perfect place for a day date!

We ordered deviled eggs and wings were delicious and crispy with a smoky flavor. The fried buffalo chicken sandwich was fantastic! If you like veggies, ask to substitute them for fries. The medley of green beans was deliciously seasoned and a welcomed option aside from fries.

Their cozy bar makes a variety of great cocktails with local dripping springs vodka and has a surprising selection of whiskeys. If you prefer, I heard their Bloody Marys are filling and delightfully Tangy!

In the spring and summer, you can eat outside with the kids. They have a small swing set. Although the place is tight, so please make sure your kids can behave so as not to disturb other patrons. I would say this is a Texan- Southern home cooking vibe!

Next time, we will come specifically for wine and dessert! Adult goals are important and vital to have;) !!

The Buffalo Chicken and Pulled Pork sandwiches were delightful, accompanied with lovely home made fries and coleslaw. Great place to stop for lunch or a whisk(e)y when in the Hill Country.

What a little gym in a culinary delight. Some of my favorites are the grilled tuna, and the salads for healthy options but yet on the other end of the spectrum they can still pull off Southern comfort foods like fried Green tomatoes and chicken fried steak... They also have a pretty mean chicken fried chicken but I always prefer the chicken fried steak.

They have quite a selection at the bar also with one of my favorites being the old fashioned and I always love the classic Bloody Mary.

The location is perfect and the atmosphere is excellent. I love the interior decor and the overall architectural feel. This definitely sets a special ambience to the atmosphere.

If nothing else swinging to grab some fried green tomatoes and a Bloody Mary!

Excellent southern food. I had the chicken fried steak and really enjoyed it. Could have been cooked a minute less honestly, but the taste was perfect.
Amazing fried pickles and jalapeños.
My girlfriend had the grilled chicken burger and really enjoyed it.

Cocktails were great too!

We walked in, though reservations are recommended.

All of the servers seemed great except one guy who took a long time to check up on us. Our only complaint. But it doesn't take away from the place!

I hope to go back next time I'm in town.

Came here for a private event in the back space. The space is clean and nicely decorated. The food was very tasty and so were the cocktails. Since we were a large group there was some confusion when the dishes arrived but all the servers were so friendly and professional. It does get very busy but we had a reservation so no wait time. Overall, would recommend for a great time!

The place is such a cute, tucked in little treasure of a restaurant! Right away was greeted kindly, the whole way through Annabelle made the dining experience perfect. She was impeccable in her service and answered all my questions as a first timer knowledgeably. I had the Rye Refresher, which was wonderful! For lunch, I had the choose your own combo of salad and sandwich (you can do soup as well), and the portions came out easy bigger than I expected! I had an appetizer queso and that was the perfect sharable size as well. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience! Everything was flavored amazing, the service was 5 star, and the atmosphere was just right! Glad I chose this place for sure!

A perfect stop for lunch. A somewhat limited lunch menu. We ordered steak burger with fries and salad. Everything was delicious. Best burger I had for a long time. Fries were yummy too. So we're the beers and the house strawberry cake. Perfect service.

What a gem! We had an outstanding meal with the best service. Our waitress was super sweet and an amazing job! Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful dinner Tuesday evening at Homespun Kitchen and bar. We were there late and didn't feel rushed at all, even though it was after 9:00. We were even offered dessert. Kayla did a wonderful job, and we can't wait to come back and see her and all of the friendly faces. Side note: My husband loved the Chicken fried steak, and the catch of the day was absolutely amazing.

Visit 1: We went here to have a family holiday meal. We have never been to this establishment before but it came recommended by a local. The server was so kind but there were several mistakes and the kitchen was not stocked to last through the evening. Despite that with what they did have…was exceptional. The food quality far beyond exceeded our expectations. The Catfish and the Red Snapper was cooked to perfection. Despite the mistakes made our server really did her best to fix things and honestly theres no hard feelings at all. We really liked her anyway. Dealing with a rush in a loud environment can be alot and she was doing her best. The atmosphere was great and there was this amazing musical group/band that performed. They were so talented. I would say their fish is some of the best we have had at any restaurant in the united states in many years. There is nothing that we tried that I have critiques about and while the food was a little pricy it was worth every penny. Even with the mishaps we all still had a wonderful experience. We look forward to coming back.

Visit 2: The Food was amazing, the server When was the absolute perfect server and overall I would say this experience was much better and this place has earned itself a five star rating.

Drove from Bee Cave to have our taxes done at H&R Block in Dripping Springs. Afterwards stopped in at Homespun for a bite to eat. Husband ordered catfish and I had their cheeseburger. It was undoubtedly the best burger I have ever eaten and husband said his catfish was great! The onion rings were to for! We will be coming here again ….and again!!

Good lunch, good food, good bar. The chicken fried steak was on point, but not as big as I expected. I had an Old Fashion to wash it down, good job, but traditionally, it should be served with the big ice cube. For the price, no details should be spared. Check out the photo, it is a beautiful drink.

What a great place! Driving through and decided to give it a try. We had the fillet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The fillet was perfectly cooked and delicious. The potatoes and asparagus were wonderfully seasoned. There is a truly great selection of spirits as well. The staff were also amazing. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Surprisingly delicious! All of our plates that we ordered were very good. Not a single complaint. Our server was also very sweet and ran with jokes. She had a good sense of humor. I would go back in eat there in a heartbeat

Lovely restaurant with seating inside and out. Huge selection of whiskeys. Nice service. Fabulous mac'n'cheese in cast iron griddle and chicken-fried-chicken also tasty.

Family-run, homey, small cafe with both indoor and outdoor dining. Friendly staff, delicious food, including in-house smoked pulled pork. Has dessert options and extensive alcohol selections as well as nonalcoholic beverages. Child-friendly.

Was passing through the area. Really enjoyed everything at this restaurant. Apparently, they a food happy hour from 3-6 pm, but we were not made aware until someone at the next table mentioned it. Locals only? Anyway, will go again. Recommend it!

We were driving through town and picked this place out of the blue. Best decision for a good meal!! I had the daily special, bacon cheeseburger, which I added an egg to it and picked the veggies medley instead of fries. BEST VEGGIE MEDLEY EVER!! It was very well cooked with a good mix of colored bell peppers, brussel sprouts, squash, onions etc. Not bland like a most places. 👍👍 My husband had the chicken fried steak w/mashed potatoes and more veggie medley!!😍 We also ordered dessert, chocolate peanut butter cake, it was AMAZING!!! Will definitely return and tell others. Service was also prompt and our waitress had a great attitude. Thank you!
