I contacted Carl for a collaboration on installing (2) side by side 100 Gallon Commercial Hot Water Heaters in Morgantown. Carl has been very professional in every meeting we've had. Carl is a hard worker and has a very intuitive perception on the job site as a logical thinker which is a good trait as a contractor.

I would use his services again should a situation arise that I may need his assistance.

Carl helped us install our dishwasher. After explaining to him exactly what needed to be done (plumbing and electrical were complete- it just needed to be mounted to the cabinets), he managed to squeeze us in to his busy schedule in just a few days. He was very professional, showed up on time, was diligent, cleaned up after himself, and paid very close attention to detail. We have worked with several contractors in the past and Carl gave us a totally different experience than what we were used to, and a brand new outlook on contractors. Thank you again Carl and we look forward to working with you in the future!!!

Had Carl put a rubber roof on my carport. It took several months to get the job done and my carport still leaks and there is a gap. I was told there was a guarantee of services and promises to make it right and it has been 7 months and it still leaks. Not able to get a response from him either. I had a friend that is a contractor look at it and he said I was taken advantage of. BEWARE.

Carl took a job refinishing a wood banister in our home and the person he sent to do the job had no idea what he was doing. He destroyed our banister, got wood stain all over our carpet and on our freshly painted walls. Carl was supposed to return the next morning to "fix" it, he never showed up. Months later I finally got him to respond to my messages and he agreed the job was done very poorly and he was going to return my deposit. One excuse after the other for months and then he finally stopped responding. Needless to say I never got my deposit back. We ended up having to spend even more money to repair the damage his worker caused. He is extremely unprofessional and I would NOT recommend him to anyone.

This company was assigned to our HVAC issue via a home warranty company. Appointment was assigned. On the day of the appointment, about halfway through our time window, I called to make sure he was still coming. Thankfully I did because I ‘fell through the cracks’, but Carl did show up. He diagnosed my A/C issue as a broken fan motor in the outside unit. He said he would put in the proper paperwork that night (Friday). After calling him and the warranty company daily the next business week, he never put in the diagnosis paperwork to the warranty company. So, the warranty company reassigned the job after nearly a week to where I could call my a company of my liking. Carl misdiagnosed the problem because it was a capacitor and not a fan motor. Carl would not refund my service call fee of $80 despite several attempts. Not a reliable company in my experience. I would not recommend his services since he did not complete them and was inaccurate in his diagnosis. Thankfully I was only out $80 and not a lot more like other have mentioned in their reviews.

Be careful when trying to hire Carl. I talked to him about doing several repairs to my late Mother's house which he agreed to do back in June. Carl asked for a deposit which I assumed (probably a huge mistake on my part) was for materials for the repairs and told me it would be about 2 weeks before he could start. Close to 4 weeks after giving Carl a check I had not heard from him so I called and he said he had a health issue that put him behind on work that was ahead of me but that he was going to do the work. A few weeks later I got a message from him apologizing for not getting to us but that he had a family issue and couldn't call to let me know about the delay because he had run out of minutes on his phone. Later in July Carl left me a message apologizing again and said he wanted to schedule again to get started I called back (leaving a message) and said I wanted the work done, I needed the work done but with no more excuses and either start the work or return my money and let me move on. I never heard back from Carl after that, no repairs, no return of my money, nothing! I know Carl has some very good testimonials and references on here but I have not had a good experience with him and I wanted to let people know that not all of his customers have had good experiences dealing with him.
