Marilyn's of Morgantown

This as the first time I have been here and this def won’t be the last. Kate our server was the best!!!! But not only was the service. Amazing but the food was delicious!!!! I really can’t wait to go back and try more of the items on the menu. They have everything from sandwiches to steaks and seafood but the homemade pasta dishes are amazing!!!!! You must try this place and sit in the bar area with Kate she’s so knowledgeable about all the food and she won’t steer you wrong.

I recently had my baby shower here in the Clara room. The room itself is beautiful as is with drapery hanging from the ceiling and it only got better with our decorations. Rob the manager made sure to have tables/chairs set up with napkins and linens when we arrived. He was very attentive during the entire shower and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was hot and delicious and a vegetarian meal was provided for my veggie guest. Rob even brought me sparking grape juice so I could feel included while my guests enjoyed sangria. Everything was lovely and I definitely recommend having your bridal/baby showers or rehearsal dinners here.

This dinner was our 3rd time dining at Marilyn’s and it’s gotten better each time! I was just traveling for work and hit a few James Beard nominee restaurants on the west coast and the dinner we had at Marilyn’s last week was comparable. Kudos to the chef and kitchen!
The first visit was the menu was from August 2021 and the table enjoyed the salmon burger and lots of pasta options. The second visit was a winter menu from Feb 2022 and we had the salmon, pasta, lemon chicken, and halibut. The most recent trip was July 2022 menu and our favorite yet. The live music made for a fun atmosphere. Management puts a lot of details into the space and it has always been clean. Our server was fantastic; super quick with service, provided great recommendations, very personable. The food was top notch quality, huge portions (we ate the meal 2x with leftovers), GREAT craft beer and wine selection, and the desserts are also to die for. We have been in Morgantown for almost 15 years and this has become our top 3 favorite local restaurant.

Fantastic food! Suggest getting a reservation but make sure you select the right location. Try the vanilla old fashion! Halibut was perfectly done and delicious! The shrimp and scallops was popping with flavor!

I was able to eat at Marilyn's for lunch today! The food was absolutely amazing. House made potato chips were so fresh, the 1/4 lbs hot dogs were amazing with the house made chili was sooo good. Also had some sort of their version of an Italian hoagie which so to die for the fresh meats and two different types of cheese really made this sandwich. On top of that the bread was fresh and just perfect. This experience was amazing, Robert our waiter made sure we had everything we needed to have the best lunch! Definitely recommend Marilyn's for lunch any day of the week! 10/10

Just WOW!! The food was excellent. Portions were really big. I had the Nantucket Seafood Vesuvius. The portion on this one wasn’t huge but it was fantastic. We tried a few appetizers and they were great.

As a vendor and customer I love this place. The food is delish, staff is great, and we love the atmosphere. We deliver shower and event setups to this place a good bit. The staff and the manager Rob have been so wonderful to work with. Friendly and eager to help. They go above and beyond. Recently, when I returned to pick up they met me at the door with our items and helped me load up to avoid getting caught in the storm. Wonderful people. I will continue to recommend this place to our clients.

Marilyn's did an awesome job for friends surprise birthday. The grilled chicken in the chicken Alfredo was seasoned and cooked very well. The house made pasta was on point. They know how to host a large party and make sure the food is served fresh and hot.

This was such a nice place. The food was delicious & pretty large portion size. The shrimp burger was ground shrimp, the sea food pot pie was with pastry dough, the Cajun shrimp was excellent & the chocolate cake was huge & super yummy.

Very nice menu variety and atmosphere. I had the french onion soup and autumn salad with chicken. Very good service. Not crowded.

Some items on the menu should caution you in advance on the portion size! When the server brought out The Vesuvius, I literally guffawed at the size of it! First time visiting, everything was great!

My family just held my retirement celebration at Marilyn's of Morgantown in their event room and I must say it was a wonderfully run event. The room was beautiful, the service was excellent (thank you Robert), and the food was awesome. Robert (of Marilyn's) couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, and he really helped my wife coordinate the whole thing. We really enjoyed everything! Thanks Robert. Greg

The portion size was for 3 people! And the taste was absolutely amazing 👏 😋 my vanilla old fashioned was delicious! Service was excellent 👌

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant a while back. We have now gone here quite a few times. The food and service is always impeccable. The risotto is delicious. It can be crowded on the weekends, but we don’t mind. The plating is beautiful. I love “Marilyn’s Favorite” on the menu. I can’t wait to go back.

I loved it! I had an Ode to Carmella and I was amazed. The candied bacon and pimento cheese dip were excellent too. Can't wait to go back!

They accommodated our large party well, the reservation process went smoothly, and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!

The food is fantastic. Their fresh garlic bread and pasta bakes are a must try!

Nice seating area by the fireplace. Food was wonderfully presented. Pleasant staff.

Recently held a reunion at Marilyn's, and I can't say enough about the experience. Marilyn's made arrangements for a group of 17 people on short notice. The food and service was excellent. The staff was attentive, courteous, and professional. I would highly recommend Marilyn's.
