Not only are the sushi, rolls, and poke bowls delicious, but the service is also fantasitc! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommended for sushi lovers! 🌟

Amazingly generous place. Great service regardless of dine in or take out. They took care of our order to go and blessed us with miso soup that we didn't order. Very giving restaurant. Recommend them highly. I've never had a bad meal from them. Golden Gate is one of my favorites.

Great gem in a small plaza next to Batteries Plus. Appetizers of takoyaki and tempura were perfect. I got the udon and spicy tuna roll lunch set, and it was delicious.

Delicious sushi restaurant. Great bentos. Food is quality you get what you pay for.

This place is always the best & most authentic place for sushi in my humble opinion! The fish is fresh which is the most important the place is clean & the servers are super sweet & very tentative to all your needs. Try this like place out, it’s hidden back in the corner so you might miss it!

This place is beautiful classy clean cozy and romantic with excellent friendly service and delicious and timely food my family had a great time here they didn't have much in the way to accommodate children but the waitresses went out of their way to try to do so and for that we definitely appreciate it they treated us with absolute love and kindness and the food was absolutely perfect this is for sure our favorite Sushi Spot in Federal Way now

We love this place. We used to go every Friday before we moved. The food is so fresh, they offer complementary soup or salad. The spider roll and spicy tuna are the best we’ve had in this area.

Best Katsu and Cali roll I've ever had. The overall quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the plating and presentation was at a fine dining level. And the best part was the service was even better than the food. And the food was out of this world.

Incredible!!! I've had sushi everywhere (including Nobu) and I just happened to find this place. I was overwhelmed with the freshness and quality of the fish. The prices were fair, service was attentive and the place was clean. I'm going back as often as possible...

This was BEYOND 5 stars. The restaurant is extremely clean, the ambiance is quiet yet comfortable and welcoming. The food is art. The vegetarian choices were delicious. It tastes as good as it looks, INCREDIBLE. Update: This is the best restaurant in Federal Way, hands down.

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant and all of the Seattle metro area. The food is outstanding. The service is everything that you would expect from a good Japanese restaurant which is just excellent. And the staff are all just the coolest Japanese people! The sushi is super fresh and delicious. Forget going to the chain sushi places, cuz of this place is the best! I've had the bento boxes, and it's more food than you can stand and just extremely tasty. My father-in-law loves the shrimp tempura dish. He gets it every time we go there. Both my wife and son love this place... Anytime I ask if they want to go someplace for lunch Koharu is always the top choice lol!

The sushi was on a whole other level. I don't think I have had sushi this good for about a decade. The sushi was presented beautifully and you could taste the freshness. Not to mention the Tempura, katsu, and gyozas were exemplary. While it is a bit more expensive than many other sushi places the price difference is well worth it. The portions were great as well, especially with the bento boxes. Tea was a little weak but I like my tea stronger than most. Overall one of my new favorite restaurants.

today was our first time here.the food was really good but more importantly the service was outstanding! we have 3 kids and it's hard to go out and enjoy a nice meal sometimes.we had an awesome dinner tonight! we will be back:) oh btw they had happy hour when we went today which was really nice!

Very nice atmosphere with great food. When you go to Koharu, try Monkey brain. The name is a little odd. OMG...it tastes good. You will know why I love this dish. I never miss this when I go there.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Friendly staff. When i walked in I noticed that groups of more elderly asian families eating here which I think is a great sign. Music, general environment and vibe were just good too. Authentic, and for you who didn't know they do put the wasabi under the fish (when i visited Japan it was that way). I'd come back here with friends after work.

Service was amazing and the food was even better! They were quick too. I didn't get pics of everything because we just wanted to eat.

This is a very nice Japanese restaurant. We ordered a sashimi platter, several different types of sushi, and a tempura platter. They were all so delicious that I forgot to take pictures. The only picture we have is the picture of our desserts - Mochi Icecream! Yum. It’s definitely worth the drive!

Koharu Restaurant is one of the best sushi places in Federal away. My wife and I normally have the bento box lunch or dinner special. The bento box consists of sushi, sashimi, tempura meat/ veggies, and miso soup. You have the option to choose.

This restaurant is a pleasant and quiet place to enjoy your lunch or dinner. The staff is fantastic too.

I would recommend the bento box if you do not know what to choose.

Definitely found my new sushi place! The lunch special was super reasonably priced, decor is lovely, presentation on point, and sushi was great! Especially liked the salmon rolls!
