I haven't eaten here in years. Even before the Tornado hit. So this is basically my first time here. I was surprised at the creative options on the menu. Found many things I wanted to try. Almost ordered the "Horse"... I was quite pleased with my meal. My kids ate till they were full. The dessert options are awesome. This place is definitely worth a drive into the country.

The food was great. Service was friendly, fast, and attentive. Would highly recommend and come back when back in town!

FABULOUS place all around. From the time you walk in the staff is kind and thoughtful, the food is phenomenal (both portions, taste, and price), and the atmosphere is homey and comfortable.

We're not from this part of Illinois, but will definitely be stopping in again.

I'm glad I took that exit off the interstate. Grubsteakers has a similar look and feel to a Perkins, however, the food is much better. The waitress staff works well together, the service was great. The prices on the food are very reasonable. I had a really good Philly cheese steak and awesome french fries. The burger was good too.

Best food in several counties. I’d drive hungover as hell to eat their delicious breakfast. Great service for years. 🫠

First time to check out this place. Plenty of room for a semi. Food served fast and was hot. Great coffee.Very reasonable price. Friendly staff. Clean nice atmosphere. Highly recommend, definitely will return.

Had the breakfast buffet on Saturday. Great selection of food at a good price. The breakfast buffet goes much later than most.

My husband and I go here almost every week- it’s a quaint little place and we love it! The wait staff is always wonderful and the prices are amazing! The service is always fast and the food is excellent (especially the soups :))

A great place the wife wanted it for her birthday lunch so like all most 50 miles each way . Happy wife happy life lol . I've been here many times even before the storm that changed everything for them the food has always been great and the service is top notch. Definitely recommend prices are good to.

I used to go to this restaurant when I was a kid. A tornado destroyed it and they rebuilt it better than I ever remember. The food was great, and the waitress provided great service.

Friday fish is excellent. The fried walleye was superb, the baked cod could be put up against any 5 star restaurant cod and would come out ahead. Quality of food, price, and good service make this or of the way place worth the drive
