Bernardi's Restaurant

The food was amazing. The chef recommended a wine to pair and it was perfect. The waitress was also very nice and knew just what we needed when we needed it.

Always enjoy eating here, the staff is friendly and we have gotten to know them and they us. Always nice to be greeted and welcomed back. Craig makes an excellent martini. We had the Cobb salad which is huge and tasteful. Atmosphere has old photos from the families original restaurants and reminds you of a old supper club but clean and fresh .

Just held a Celebration of Life at Bernardis in Washington and it could not have been more perfect!! Stephanie helped me set it up EVERY step of the way. The staff was incredible and the service was better than ANYWHERE I have been. They handled our very large group flawlessly! The food was incredible and everyone in attendance remarked about what a nice event this had been and just how nice the severs were and how Great the food was. They really thought of EVERYTHING including books for the kids, a dessert tray for our use and extra tables for pictures. JUST PERFECT!! Thank you Bernardis for making this memorial a GREAT experience for all of us!!! Thank you Stephanie! I will be glad to hold ANY special event with you!

Better than expected! I have no idea why I've lived 15 minutes away for about 2 decades and have never tried Bernardi's. I'm really regretting that now! The garlic pretzel appetizer was delicious with both the cheese and marinara side for dipping. But beware, it's a stomach-filler - huge and shareable by 6-8 people! My Tuscan Parmesan was a unique take on Lasagna, breaded, deep fried, and then served with both marinara and Alfredo sauces. This is comfort food at its best. Our waitress was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Prices are between reasonable and a little high, we spent just over $100 with a tip for 4 meals (plus appetizer) and non-alcoholic drinks. Highly recommended all around, we will be back often!

Wonderful dinner for six friends. Chicken and fish were prepared perfectly. I was able to get around on my scooter, including the restrooms. There are no steps!

The wait staff made us feel like we were the only ones who mattered.

THE BEST!! Such a great restaurant. The food is SOOOOOOOOOO good! The fried chicken, shut the front door!!!! The Alfredo OMG!! You will not regret trying this place or making it a regular! Everything is AMAZING! The pretzel is a must try!! The stuffed mushrooms, YUM! I could go on and on!! The staff is very kind and courteous. Just really enjoy this place!

I treated my two sisters and my Mom stopp for dinner. We were glad to have visited. The service was good, the restuarant clean and the atmosphere relaxing. I even had a chance to speak with the founders grand daughter who related some of the fascinating family history behind Bernardi's. There also was a love band performing outdoors on the patio.

I originally reviewed this great place pre-pandemic and they have emerged from it well. The food, service, and everything else is still fantastic.

I recently moved out of the area and took the opportunity to visit on my last trip to central Illinois. I was NOT disappointed.

As awesome as I remember. Awesome fried chicken, delicious homemade pasta and salad dressing. Friendly staff and fun customers.

Sat at bar, which is always a delight here, Bartender was and is awesome at his job! As well as a great conversationalist! Food, is fabulous , no bad dishes. Prices are good, and they serve a good cold beer!

Went with family to celebrate a special birthday. Food was very good. Waitress and staff were helpful and attentive even though they were very busy. A great place to go for a special occasion at reasonable prices.

I had the chicken Parmigiana and the flavor was terrific but the chicken itself was a dried out puck. Service was incredible and wow were they busy. Would certainly go again.

Bernardi's has the best chicken anywhere! Plump, juicy and hot!! Served by the most friendly servers too! Always a plus!! What a great deal!!
