Khoury's Restaurant

Some of the best onion rings, grape leaves, and hospitality you will find in a restaurant. The owner was incredibly friendly and gave us a concert while we ate! The gyro was ok but I wouldn’t get it again.

My husband and I happened in for a late lunch, we're from out of town and was looking for a vegetarian option. I had the falafel, which is delicious and also ordered the hummus. The owner made us a fresh batch, telling us it is a family recipe. It is outstanding! My husband tried the tenderloin sandwich and fries, both very tasty. We will definitely go back, the food is great and the owner is delightful and friendly!

We don't live in Central Illinois anymore. But, we have to stop at Khoury's to get something to eat on our way through.

Great food! I've tried several different items and have never been disappointed. Portions are more than adequate, and it is always fresh and piping hot. Owner is friendly and always wants to be certain you are happy with your food and service.

Mr. Khoury was incredibly welcoming and kind. The gyro is AMAZING. Their homemade hummus is fantastic as well!! I can’t wait to try the baklava. One star off of atmosphere for the flies that found their way in. Otherwise perfect!

I met my friend there, yesterday, August 17th, for lunch. It was fabulous. I ordered the super Gyro & fries while my friend ordered the special of the day: Philly Cheese with FF. we both had the pistachio baklava & while I'm not a huge pistachio fan the baklava was excellent. Will be back.

First time to go to khoury's . The Reuben was great, thick sandwich. We shared 1. The fried onion rings and mushrooms fantastic. Huge portions I had to bring half of each home.
I definitely will go back. They have gyro's, walleye dinner, chicken. Lots of variety for everyone. Staff is really nice.

If you are fond of a cozy environment, welcoming staff, and a variety of different cultural delicacies... This is the place! The owner, Sarkis, never fails to make a welcoming environment even sparing the time to appreciate each and every customer. (Usually in the form a lovely anecdote!) The things that make this restaurant absolutely worth the wait are not only the people, but the food! The cultural dishes are top notch especially the gyros! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in Greek culture and delicacies. ALSO, Please talk to the owner! I think you will find yourself leaving in a better mood if you do, he's lovely!

We were greeted by a very friendly man who took our order and cooked it as well. I think it was the owner! Whoever he was, thank you! Not only was the food superb, he even played some instruments for us!

This is my favorite restaurant! The food is always fresh and delicious. The hummus, gyros, and grape leaves are my favorite items on the menu! Every time I go in the owner greets me with a smile and goes above and beyond to provide great customer service. I love Khoury’s!

Amazing food, onion rings are incredible! And what a nice man running the show! I go out of my way to stop here any time I am in central Illinois. It may sometimes take some time to get your food, but rest assured, it is worth the wait. Owner is extremely nice!

Very pleased by our first visit to Khoury's. Our Take Out order was prepared and packaged well, ready on time, and delicious. Large portions of 'comfort' food we crave sometimes but can be difficult to find. Friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Me and my sister came from out of town and decided to stop in when we drove past and we are so glad that we did. The food was amazing, you definitely get what you pay for. The owner even came by the table and talked to us and it was very nice to hear the story about the business. We are already wanting to make the hour and a half trip back!

This place is great. Love the gyro meal. The food comes out hot! Very nice owner. Not a lot of parking but that's ok. Can be tricky to enter parking lot but additional street parking available. Try it!

The owner took my order, sat to visit and tell me about himself and was a generally delightful person. The food came out promptly and it was very good. I had the walleye (Friday night special.)👍🏻👍🏻
