Mouth watering Mexican food with beer on tap, an awesome place to hang out with friends and have a lovely evening together. The service was very quick and our server was super awesome in recommending us with the best beer on tap as well. Will definitely visit again

Exactly what I’m looking for in a Mexican restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere 🤌 the margaritas are great and when they say large they mean large

The booths and tables all have cool scenery painted on them which is exciting for me. I like that. They’re different too so it’s not the same image across the restaurant. It feels like it was once a sports bar? Either way food is great and I’ve never been disappointed.

Very friendly service! Chips and salsa were brought to table immediately. Large menu with many great options. Full bar service. The food tasted great. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant if you want good Mexican food!

The carnita street tacos are AMAZING! Perfect amount of cilantro and onions. The mango margarita was a nice fresh delight of a drink to have while snacking on their chips, queso and salsa. Overall, we had a great experience and it’s a very clean environment! We will be returning.

A true gem in the Twin Cities area, Hopkins' own El Lorito has tasty Mexican food in an authentic-feeling atmosphere full of color and life.

Over time I've found they have good enchiladas, good fajitas, good guacamole, and will gather around to sing Feliz Cumpleanos on your birthday. (All while you wear a huge sombrero and hold an inflatable novelty beer bottle.)

I believe this is locally family-owned and run, which makes for both improved dining and service. Service has typically been reasonably fast even during peak hours with tons of people dining. They've been organized, and the food always comes out hot. They keep the good Mexican habanero sauce on the table (El Yucateco), and everyone usually seems satisfied with the Margaritas. (I don't typically have any, but people always offer a sip and they're tasty.)

Like most good Mexican restaurants, they deliver complimentary chips and salsa to the table. The place is bustling.

As a vegetarian, there are a slim few menu options, but they easily custom made a veggie fajita dish for me. (Something they have-- just not on the menu.) If you don't see something, it's worth asking, because in my experience the staff are more than happy to help.

Check it out. El Lorito has certainly earned its place.

The food portions were insane, so much and tasty. I have a texture problem so I absolutely do not eat chopped onions and pepper on the same plate, but they made it so good i did not notice. Sadly I didn’t know what i wanted so i ended up ordering everything but next time i know what’s up

Stopped in by myself right around lunch time. Not too busy inside, was seated quickly.

Was served chips, salsa, and a sour cream based dip that was great. Chips could use some work, were a bit stale.

Ordered street tacos - carne asada and Al pastor. Meat was very flavorful!

Top authentic offering in the area. We drive past a few "fast" or smaller Mexican food places to get here. There is always room for us, the whole staff is friendly, positions are huge, and the food is delicious.

I stop by coincident and get a big impression. The place is beatifull and the food is delicious. The service was also very good, what ese you can ask for...

Friendly service, food was fresh and delicious, large portions definitely enough to share, restaurant was clean.

First stepping foot inside, you are met with a smile, a welcome, and an amazing decor of crafted wood and colorful art.

The menu has some amazing choices (yes, I went with the chicken Chimichanga). It was amazing!
They have a very massive Margherita, though I did not order that this time, it appeared to be a hit with a few other guests while we dined. Otherwise a very good drink selection.

Food and charm, the food is phe-nom-enal... Lunch time is my jam, sitting at the bar lunch specials... The Chimi plate you can't go wrong... I like Queso! Beans are solid. Charm is provided by the environment and Martin! He invited you in to his Casa and takes care of you!

The food here is just awesome. And the employees are super friendly and look like truly enjoy working together. Great menu offering.

1:30 pm yesterday with a co-worker for lunch , it was perfect we got right in .The waitress was very accommodating and she was very nice 💯

This is my favorite place for Mexican food! You couldn't find a nicer more attentive staff. The food is served hot and fresh. Their margaritas are a variety of flavors and all of them delicious. The menu has everything & more of authentic cuisine. The decor of bright colors makes this place fun & inviting. Also, my disabled friend frequently meets me here and they accommodate him by allowing him to use their alternate entrance. That is really special for us as this was his favorite restaurant before he became disabled. Highly recommend!!!

The inside of this restaurant is just delightful. Very vibrant colors on the table and chair scenes, and so friendly. Menu selections provide just about any entree and side you could imagine. My personal favorite is the chile renello. Nothing short of fantastic. There were three of us, with my wife and oldest granddaughter. All three meals were delicious, and the experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

Fajitas were great! Sizzling hot and a little extra spice in the peppers? We will be back!
