Cub - St. Louis Park Knollwood

This place - Cub Food delivered for us today. We did pretty quick visit and shopped for few things. Most of them we found except cooked chicken. It was not available at a time and we didn't have time to wait for it. But that's not a big deal. There were no lines at the registers. Good store with tons of available things and goodies.

This is our home Cub Foods as this is the closest to our place and we have been frequenting here for more than 4 years now. They have a great maintenance of the place and have never seen rotten or empty produce at any point of time. They have a friendly staff who aid you any time you are stuck somewhere. The store has a nice floor planning as one place leads to another sequentially. We get our supply of 5 gallon drinking water from this location week on week. The reverse osmosis setup is fantastic and we have never had complaints with the water. The checkout wait time is so high during peak hours during the weekends that you will feel like being at the checkout forever. Make sure you make great use of the Cub Rewards program that you can make use at the Holiday gas stations as well. This is truly a Minnesota born and raised!

Great location. Well kept. It also provides a couple of bins for plastic bag recycling.

I love this Cub! I've been shopping here for over 12 years. I don't live near it anymore but will continue to shop here.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The deli staff especially. And on the deli staff I have to give special mention to Millie. She is very good at her job, friendly, and has always gone out of her way to help me.
She's the best.😎

I was just at this location this morning. I happened to be in the deli section (where they have fresh salads that the employees portion out for you). I'm not sure why, but a customer was clearly angered by something and was demanding to speak to the manager. There was some back and forth, but as I did my shopping, I saw that once the manager arrived, she not only was able to seemingly calm the angry customer, but then was also equally trying to calm the visibly upset employee. That is a level of tact that is rare, and to some degree, cannot be taught. That said, I was there for groceries, not entertainment. The store was nicely lit, clean, had a great variety of both fresh made/baked and shelved foods.

I was in to get a cake for a birthday party at a nursing home, it was early in the morning so there weren’t cakes and cupcakes available for the quantity I needed (which was to be expected that early in the morning). Sarah and Heidi were very helpful as they took time to ask me if I needed help before I even went to ask someone. I needed 2 half sheet cakes just plain, they worked very quickly to put together the cakes, even offered to decorate it (the decorator was off that day). I just want to say this kind of service is rare to see nowadays, but Sarah and Heidi from the bakery made my day. Both deserve a fat raise. I’m not just saying that, good service should always be commented on. I manage in hospitality and would do anything to have people like them. Thank you Sarah and Heidi, you two are awesome.

I like it because it's close to where I live. I can usually find just about anything I am looking for. They are open until midnight. I like using the self check out too.

I can always find what I am looking for. The staff have always been very pleasant and helpful. Youssef, the Asst. Mgr in produce goes out of his way to make sure his customers have the freshest produce. He and his guys work hard and fast-very impressive! Thanks for the head of lettuce!

Pharmacy is always fast and friendly. Only occasionally are sold out of items I'm looking for in store. Good sales and decent pricing. Employees are usually helpful and cheery. Really have no complaints.

This is 1 of my absolutely favorite places to go!! The people are so wonderful and always happy to see you! It makes you feel like going to visit a big family, instead of simply going to a store! Except for the fruit trays, the prices are phenomenally cheap. The meat is unusually fresh, as the main store has a
close proximity. I love this store, and never shop elsewear.(except for fruit). I go to COSTCO for fruit, as you get more for 1/2 of the price. I highly recommend this store!!

Excellent selection of inexpensive items and higher end options, including a full deli and bakery. The deli and bakery items are often less expensive than the shelf items, and of higher quality and the exact amount requested. I've been going to this one for about ten years now and have had consistently great experiences.

This has always been a great store. However, today on Christmas Eve they blocked the doors 15 minutes prior to the advertised closing time. This upset alot of last minute shoppers. It also upset me, as I needed to get to the bank inside the store that was still open. Very rude security people and a man who identified himself as the manager...

**EDIT 11/2015 Thought it would be good to set the record straight and upgrade my review; the manager personally apologized to me on my next visit to the store. My call must have shaken things up in their corporate world. Since that day I have had nothing but exceptional service at this Cub Foods.

Great staff! Great customer service! I absent-mindedly left 2 bags of groceries on a cart. When I went back for them, they were already gone. After customer service staff asked me a few questions and checked my receipt, I was told to simply gather up the items I lost.

Best Cub. The staff are very helpfull and friendly. Most staff have been here since I started shopping here (many years). Very clean, great deli food.

Great place, nice environment, clean and well-stocked. the overnight staff is super friendly and very helpful especially those two guys one with the glasses and the other tall strong bodybuilder guy (Tony) they're very helpful and very friendly excellent customer service compared to other cub foods.

This Cub does have great selections of food and is always pretty clean.

My favorite cub store by far. Excellent value and clean. Great produce! So glad it's close by. Great value on
meat because they always put it on sale eventually. Love love love my cub!

I was just told that my two-year-old New Balances were fire by a gentleman who was probably about ten years younger than me. Please never change, Knollwood Cub.

Kathy & Sera.(Sarah. Not sure how she spells it) Since 2009 Kathy has done all my sons birthday cakes and every time she amazes me.
Today is my sons 17th Birthday I went in yesterday mid day to order the cake to my surprise Kathy had already went home for the day and had today off. I was freaking out.
But sera was there and she assured me she would take care of us. Well she sure did
My son is into Harry Potter and there wasn’t a theme cake in the books. But she made it happen. She did a great job!!! both myself and the birthday boy are extremely happy! (Wish I could post a picture)
I just want to say Keep up the wonderful hard work you ladies do!! I appreciate you both! You’re level of customer service is above and beyond. Again I just wanted to say thank you.
