Home Avenue - Flat Fee & FSBO Realty

I have used Home Avenue to sell 2 houses, and between both of them I've saved tens of thousands of dollars in real estate commissions. I still pay the buyers agency of 2.5-3% to encourage realtors to bring their clients, but I have no problem showing my own home for open houses and such. Home Avenue is super helpful with filling out the forms, and there is always a realtor just a call away for any questions.
Will I use them again? Absolutely!!! A big thank you to Madeline and John for making this a great experience.

My husband & I used Home Avenue FSBO to sell a condo we own. Everyone we dealt with was so professional & thorough. We liked the fact there is a flat fee for the different options they offer depending on your needs. We were able to show our Open House dates/times on the MLS listing & sold it quickly. I can’t believe everybody doesn’t use Home Avenue. This is the second time I’ve sold a home through them. This time I saved about $10,000. All you have to do is take some pictures fill in the blanks in Home Avenue gets it listed on MLS and that is how you get your buyer. Twice I used their 399.00 package, it worked for me.

Home Avenue was the way to sell!! $$ Did I mention how much we saved $$ The paper work took some time but I enjoyed the researching and I also had my own good quality photos. The staff was excellent in helping with our questions. We had an open house the first weekend after we listed and found out many people wanted to buy without a realtor! They wanted all the facts about the house directly from the owners. We did spend a lot of time deciding on a list price and went with our 'gut feeling'... we did sell over the asking price!

I have now used Home Avenue to sell two of my homes. Both times things went very smoothly and in the hot markets, also very quickly. They will give all the support you need on their sliding scale or if you have done this a few times, they just give you gentle reminders of any steps needed to keep MLS up to date. If you want to save 1000's and in my case 10's of 1000's, this is the team I highly recommend. Always got back to me in a timely manner and in many cases I was actually able to get a live person immediately. After everything was in place and my house was listed on the MLS, I had a written offer from a representing buyers realtor in less than a week. I paid 3.25% commission but saved thousands by not paying 6% commission. If you are willing to listen , do what they say, there is a very high probability that not only will your home get sold in a timely manner but you'll save tons of hard earned monies. If you are not using companies like Home Avenue, you are throwing your long earned equity in your home away to someone that does not work too hard. Once your home is on MLS, the buyers will find it and they will ask their realtor to show it to them.. You should expect to pay a buyers fee of 2% but that is a far greater deal then 5-7%. Make sure your home is in good repair, clean and free of clutter and it will sell much faster. Home Avenue may charge fees to assist in paperwork but the goal is to get the buyer in the door and a sold sign in the yard.
